The xio lang baos were great . But the pan fried baos were not as good. Both the meat and vegetarian pan fried baos were drier than expected, a little too stretchy for the liking.
Xio lang baos were warm and flavorful. They were like eating a warm cloud – a soft pillowey texture but edible.
Green beans were good. Well boiled and flavored.
It was definitely very loud and noisy on a Friday evening

Excellent dumpling spot with a few vegetarian options.
My wife is allergic to garlic and they were able to guide us through the menu, which is rare for a dumpling place.
We were a bit cold by the entrance door but the warm tea helped a lot.
The food was great, service fast and nice staff (also rare).
Quiet and almost cosy. We will be back.

Great dumplings. Loved the XLB soup dumplings, spicy pork XLB especially. Could have eaten 30 of those. My vegan friends loved their corn steamed dumplings, wonderful fried tofu, and pan fried bao buns. Big steamed bao buns great also.

Stepped in around 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon was empty. Inside was cleaned and modern. Luckily they don’t have the break time.
Server gives you the menu and pen. Just check the dish that we would like to order by ourselves and just hand it back to them.
Ordered my favorite menu Pig ear with spicy sauce. It was not that spicy but delicious and refreshing with the chill cucumber in there.
Ginger and green onions noodle was so good. The sauce was umami and the noodle was perfect cooked. Recommended!

We had dinner at Dumpling Story on Friday with a big group, and it was a huge hit. We ordered tons of steamed and pan-fried dumplings, and every single one was to die for—flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked.
Surprisingly, my favorite dish of the night was the green beans. They were so good I didn’t even manage to get a photo before they were gone. Definitely don’t skip them.
This spot is ideal for groups: the menu is perfect for sharing, the food comes out quickly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. My only small complaint is that they don’t give you napkins to keep on your lap—and since dumplings can get pretty messy, I definitely left with a few souvenirs on my pants.
Minor messiness aside, this is a fantastic place for a casual, delicious dinner, and I’d happily go back again (next time armed with extra napkins).

Dumpling story is a hidden gem on valencia street
They have amazing soup dumplings and great spicy wonton dish as well
Their noodles were okay just a little soggy but I highly recommend their dumplings
Parking might be hard in front of the store and there was no wait on Sat at 6pm
Vibes were good and drinks were good as well! Try them out!
Overall highly recommend for everyone!

If you want dumplings or noodles, this place is fantastic. Look beyond just the dumplings; the noodle soups are very good as well. They seem to be positioning themselves a bit upscale – the interior is bright and spacious, the prices are a little higher than other comparable options. The food is delicious and there’s a window into the kitchen, which seemed to me maintained immaculately.

The service was fast and friendly, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming vibe. I ended up ordering way more than I planned because everything coming out of the kitchen looked too good to pass up.

The food I had delivered from here on a food delivery platform was finger licking delicious. The chicken was extra crispy just like I love it. The pork dumplings were amazing as well. The wanton soup was top notch. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ . Next time I will eat here in person
