This place has a good old fashioned original Chinese resturaunt aura to it. The kind man who takes your order is smart and thinks outside the box. I wanted to order their pot stickers because they are a must have. I always order the same ones and . He made a suggestion that he would surprise me and mix it up. I swear I now have a better perspective of what I love and the bottom line is IF I HAD TO CHOOSE 1 FOOD TO LIVE OFF OF for thebrest of my lofe and onky 1. The potstickers would be it. They make my brain literaly feel euphoric. Must be the love and great old wisdom and energy the older woman who sits and hand molds these dumplings daily. Im hooked. They had some uncooked on a tray near their service door I saw when I passed to go to the restroom and I seriously considered filling my pockets and running out like a straight weirdo. I’m seriously addicted to their veggie and also the pork and chive and the kitchen one. Yummy. Lol.

Chow mein Mongolian beef, pork and chive pan fried potstickers, and corn cheese dumplings was the order we got. The chow mein Mongolian beef was noy Mongolian beef but Mongolian onion with 5-6 pieces of meat and the onions tastes more like Mongolian than the beef. The chowmein tasted like nothing and didn’t have meat or veggies or even bean sprouts. Potsticker didn’t taste like much, the only thing that saved them was the sauce they give you and it was really that provided flavor. In addition to this, they had us waiting for the meal for quite some time , I’m okay with waiting but they had the food in the cashier area getting cold while they were finishing making other items. I tend to not care about service the cashier person was friendly and attentive but the food was flavorless and disappointing.
Edit: So l just realized the middle of the pork and chive dumpling is raw. This place is unbelievable.I am so extremely mad and hadn’t realized after 1 have 2 of these left. I cant believe they would serve this especially with the amount of time I had to wait to receive the food.

Food tastes good but the food handling was completely awful and needs to get inspected. Cashier /waiter was picking his nose and digging ears without washing his hands before handling food. He brought us our food and had some strong breath.
After eating the food and going to the bathroom to wash my hands, I realized what I ate was treated like this next to the bathroom in the hallway. I’ve had many dumplings in my lifetime but I’ve never seen so many dumplings handled this way. Wanted to throw up after!
Get these fixed and it’ll be a lot better.

This little dumpling house gives you mom and pop vibes. It doesn’t attract you by flashiness or a complicated menu. It just gives you delicious and homey feels. Stumbled upon this place during COVID and haven’t gone back to actually enjoy this place in a set down setting. Finally got a chance to do so and glad that I did. There wasn’t a lot of people the day we went and it worked out, felt like we had the place to ourselves. Ordered 4 dishes to share amongst three people and the food was more than enough. Started off with the soup which warmed our tummies, it was light and refreshing. Then came our other three dishes, dumplings, buns and walnut shrimp. I couldn’t get enough of the dumplings. There was plenty of flavor and pretty soon we were all full. Just a simple meal to enjoy with friends that we’re all completely satisfied with.

The place is way over priced i ordered a Honey nut Shrimp with side of veggie fried rice and a water bottle. I paid 25 bucks the food Quality was very poor it came out in 2 minutes. I can go to Panda Express pay 15 bucks get Rice and chowmein and 2 sides shrimp teriyaki chicken a fountain soda and pay under 15 Bucks. My first and last visit and they screwed my order up they had to remake it.

Most of the Chinese food place I’ve tried around the Lodi area were really good; however, this one probably edges all of them. I started ordering from this place during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 and were hooked ever since. The food is quite fresh and tastes amazing. Service is always great and fast. I’ve never ate at the actual location, and typically phone or DoorDash order from here. My favorite dishes are their chicken and house chow mein, their pork and chive dumplings, and the bbq pork steamed bao. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area and are craving dumplings!

We came in, we sat down and the server gave us our drinks .Then he took my order just fine, then when it came to my friends he was very unprofessional, could not explain the menu options to us then walked off after my friend asked for no pork because he maintains a halah diet, stating “I try” . Absolutely freaking bonkers! Try at your own risk .

Sorry, I!ve gotta ratchet back my overly exuberant first review a bit. I have been a pretty regular customer here, and tried to turn a blind eye towards some of the not exactly immaculate conditions. But the last time I went in was my last time. I ordered two orders of dumplings to go; I was hungry that day! And then i waited. And i waited. And i watched the guy who is the regular cook leisurely eating *his* lunch, while reading and not looking up at all. I thought that surely there must be someone else who was making (warming up) my dumplings? So I stood there for about 15 full minutes, while my dog was waiting out in the car (I had the windows down, but it was still hot out, and i didnt think i would be THIS long!) Eventually it became clear to me that NOTHING was going to happen, until dude got to the bottom of his soup. Counter guy just tucked into a corner and wouldn’t look over my way. Cook guy was still just reading away on his phone, and wouldn’t look up. I certainly didnt want to interrupt their leisure time by bothering them at work, and CLEARLY there was no one else that was gonna warm me up any dumplings, so I just turned around and walked out. They can keep those dumplings, and ALLLLL the dumplings I would have bought in future (I loved those stupid things), and Im just gonna drive to Elk Grove in the future. I feel better about the sanitation there, anyway.

He even looked up “soup dumpling” on the internet for me so he could translate it into the correct thing to order. Ordered their iced tea for the first time, and it was fresh and delicious.

Enjoy coming when it’s slower, but peak hours I just ordered to go. Dumplings are the main thing I get here and the dipping sauce is one of the only locations I like it from.
