I am very disappointed. On my way home from a long meeting yesterday I decided to stop by to buy two empanadas. The meat inside of the empanadas was rotten and tasted sour. I asked the lady behind the counter if they were fresh and she told me yes. So she lied. Be ware buying anything from this place. Food is not fresh and you could get very sick. Also the place doesn’t have proper ventilation. It smells like burnt oil as you walk in. My clothes and hair smells like grease and I was in there for just a few minutes. I don’t think they have a permit to fry food because the place is not ventilated for it.

I went in there excited to support a new business and was not welcomed the way I would expected a new business to run… The two girls where in the back and once they finally acknowledged me there was no hi or hello they just stared at me. I proceeded to look at what there was around and still no ¿How can I help you?. I got an empanada it was good but right before I paid I asked the girl behind the register if she had added a sauce to my bag and she nodded (that was about as interactive as the cashier got) , when I got home excited to eat my empanada there was no sauce in sight. I also purchased the pan de bono “cheese bread” it was not good at all it was hard and very salty mind you I’m 3 ish minutes from the place so it could not gave gotten the way it did in that little time. I never find myself writing bad reviews but this one deserved it. I frequent Colombian restaurants and this restaurant does not represent what Columbia’s culture and flavor is…

My boyfriend is Colombian and we like to check out Colombian cafes/bakeries in the area – we really liked it here!
The woman who helped us (who seemed like the owner) let us know that the pasteles gloria are baked, not fried. We also noticed that the pandebonos didn’t taste as greasy as some others that we’ve had, and you can really taste the cheese.
I got the vanilla latte and it was delicious! There’s a jar of sugar with a cute wooden spoon on the table if you want to add any more sugar to your drink.
My boyfriend and I both felt like we were in a small cafe in Colombia – we loved it! Would definitely return.

I had to write a review for this place because it is absolutely fantastic! I’ve been here twice now, and both times were a 10/10 experience.
First, the service is outstanding. They were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent attention to me and my family.
And the food… just wow! We tried a few different things, and everything was spectacular. The Hawaiian burgers were delicious, and the baked goods were incredible. We had the pan de bonos, the Hawaiian puff pastry (pasteles hawaianos de ojaldre), and the meat pastries (pasteles de carne), and honestly, every single bite was amazing.
I will definitely be coming back many more times, and I 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Colombian food and top-notch service. A true gem!

Beef and chicken empanadas are both AMAZING! I’m somewhat of an empanada connoisseur, as places are far and few in between. I had my dad bring them from my hometown to 2 1/2 hours away in PA……. I ate these a day old and I’m still rating these 11/10. Generous on filling! Sauces are both really yummy too. Driving to Dover every time added an extra 30 mins on my drive so I want this place to stick around! My dad said the pastries are also delicious.. I’m not a pastry expert so I cannot comment more on that lol.

Mid. I frequent Colombian bakeries regularly, not overly impressed with the food. First time I went was with my parents who wanted to try it not long after they first opened. I looked at the menu and the thing I wanted to order well turned out they didn’t have it, mind you it was early in the AM not that long since they opened. Kinda defeats the purpose of having it the menu if you won’t actually have it when a customer wants it. Coffee was not terrible but had better, same with the empanadas & chicharron. I’m big on boosting local small businesses so if I go out of my way to provide constructive criticism it’s for a reason to help them improve since I see potential in them being that they’re in a prime location and being that there’s another better (at the moment) Colombian bakery maybe 2 miles down from this place so they can really focus if they want to go long-term.

Such a cute little spot! The empanadas are our favorite!! My boyfriend LOVES the food! They are so sweet!! We love seeing the manager Alejandra she’s is SO SWEET and nice you get a family feel from her! It deserves all the business!!

Two cheese rolls, two rolls (one with chicken, one with beef) – $12.90. That’s what I paid. Very expensive compared to other Colombian restaurants. Besides, the person who served us wasn’t friendly at all. I definitely don’t recommend this place.
