Had lunch with family here, our tab came out under $100 for 6 of us which I thought was a fair price considering today’s prices. The food was delicious, I took a bite of every dish we ordered and everything was full of flavor! The serving size was also great. First time coming here, will be back again.

For some reason my wife likes coming here. I don’t see why. I think because it’s just the only other Mexican Cafe besides the crowded ones. But that’s probably for a reason. There’s nothing special here. If you’re hungry, there’s food. I will say, the staff is very attentive and very kind and friendly. Probably because they’re never busy. I know prices everywhere have gone up, so I won’t complain about a 30 dollar tab, however… the food is just bland. For bland food at least load my plate. But both bland and small portions…. this is not my first choice.

But orange juice is 4.00 each. For a minute maid bottle. Of course you have to give a tip. So 56.88. Will not return.

The wait staff were prejudice. Very hard to get waited on. Took a long time to get our food. Three tables that came after were waited before getting our food. It was obvious that the lady wanted to do minimal service. Ask for reason for late food, the lady said in spanish, “it just happens.” No sense of apology. Don’t go here.

I love menudo and , I’ve had it at every place here is Los Fresnos and let me tell you the menudo at Dulces is delicious , fresh and made with chile rojo and not that powdered chili other places use . It had great flavor and a great serving for the price! Hand down best menudo in Los Fresnos!
