Food was on par. Lighting dark and dreary even got a garnish for my plate.. of fries speaking of fries i tried their famous home-made fries that cost more then the regular ones. Received 18lbs of dried out fries with no seasoning or even salt, definitely not worth the extra price. Service was nice lady stopped by often, over all if your in a depressed mood and want comfort stale food while looking at outdated decor and nothing but photographs on every square inch of the wall. Come to Dukes 🙂

I ordered take out, 2 large fries, 1 large chef, 1 small chef. I do love their fries. But they were cold and that doesn’t look like a large. My bill was $29. A little pricey for salad and fries.

I visited Duke’s when i stopped in town for the night. I had a great steak, warm service, and found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. I don’t believe you could go wrong eating here.

Incredibly nice wait staff. So friendly. We had steak and salmon. All great. Salads were terrific. Spinach and artichoke dip was good, not best ever. They had had a busy day and were out of baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, so we had fries and home fries. Had a great red velvet cupcake to go. Good experience!

24oz Super Sirloin for Two was great! Steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Loaded baked potato was also really good. Waitress was friendly and attentive. The only thing I’d change would be the salad…too much lettuce with very little else. Overall, Great! We’ll be back.

Had a wonderful time in Elkins this weekend playing basketball. Capped it off with a stop at a great restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was really nice. Best steak sandwich I ever had….. Thanks

This place came highly recommended, but unfortunately did not live up to expectations. We were looking for great steak but that we got was very low quality, extremely overcooked, and flavorless. The veggies tasted like just warmed up canned food and the service was lacking. When we first sat down, our waitress never came. We asked where she was and were told she was talking with another table (and had been since we walked in about 10 min prior). We asked to have a different server and the waiter who took over was absolutely fantastic. If my rating were just about his service I’d give this place 5 stars.

A bit pricey. The best part was the mashed potatoes and the dessert. The meal was very underwhelming. The steak was ok. I got seasoning and it still needed it. My son could taste the oil in his fries so that was very off putting. The waitress was a sweet women.she got a good tip. I’ll go back for dessert. That about it.
