Ate here while visiting Wake Forest hospital. Parents had breakfast and I had the cafeteria buffet plate. Parents split french toast eggs biscuits and gravy and grits. I went with the one meat ( pork tenderloin) and two sides ( mac and cheese and mashed potatoes) . Parents loved everything but the gravy ( but we are used to a more brown sausage heavy gravy style) and the pork was so tender I could’ve used my fork to cut it. Good creamy mashed potatoes and mac and cheese also. Definitely a new place to visit when getting treatments in the area.

I was venturing into the neighborhood and found this location for breakfast. When I entered the establishment, they had a buffet style lunch where you selected what you wanted. Since I wanted breakfast, we just sat at a booth. I can not complain. The grits were good. The server was quick and very attentive. I will definitely return.

It is my first time there .unbelievable the service is wonderful nice waitresses so friendly the one that was ours said her name was puddintam when I ask her loved her in all my time going to restaurant she is the best. My daughter said this is why she goes here cause all are friendly. The food was great .if I could give them more stars I would I can tell this is going to be my family and mine hangout once a week .try it u will love it there we all did and I had a crowd with me.great job ladies and cooks

Plenty of food serviced on your plate here. The food was delicious. Buffet style served behind the counter as soon as you walk in. Pay as you leave. Very easy on your pocket book, considering the economic times.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! The staff are all very friendly & those girls are fast! The pancakes have real fruit in them & I love the french toast too, just like my grandma used to make me. They will grill your bread instead of toasting & they grill their muffins also. The best side is the grilled tomatoes!

Overall Thoughts: My family loves this place! When you think of local…this is what you think of. They are only open until 2 everyday, so you better get there before then. I believe this is now a 2nd generation owned restaurant, and you can tell that they really care and actually WORK IN THE BUSINESS! Just a great place to grab a bite!

4. Food Quality: A+! I’ve never had anything that was bad. There isn’t any 1 thing that will blow your socks off, but just all around good
5. Service: One of the best around! The staff seemingly knows just about all of the patrons! Very little staff turnover
6. Parking: Parking can be a little tricky – it is best to park behind the building (like you are going to the animal shelter)
7. Must Haves: I always get the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Wrap with avocado.

We absolutely loved our waitress. This local favorite hangout was not my cup of tea. May have been a bad day, with hard biscuits on the menu. We will definitely be back to try lunch, cafeteria line style food. Hope to change my opinion about this restaurant.
