Finally made it. This place has been on my saved list for two years. And it did not disappoint.
I had to have the Bologna Sandwich which was perfect. My wife had the cheese burger which she enjoyed. The fries were good but could use some seasoning.
The service and atmosphere were top notch. Very friendly and I loved the decor.

I am amazed that it was so crowded, and yet food ca me way faster than I thought it was. I was floored that there was only one person at the grill, and he’s a burger making machine. The staff and their service were great. The food was extremely good, and the burgers’ patties are the size that burgers sound be. Thank you for giving my son and I a great experience, just the 2 of us without phone calls,no texts, and no distraction. Just a boy sitting down with dad, enjoying a great meal. The only surprise of the experience is when we went to put some salt on the fries. And man, does that salt shaker work well!

I am so glad that I stopped in to try out this town staple!
The only reason I stopped is because I know that anytime you see a lot of union County sheriffs at one establishment you could safely assume that the food there is really good! And thank goodness I was paying attention…
I came in and was told that they are known for their burgers… And I know why now.
This is the best burger that I have had at a family owned joint.
My favorite burger comes from Jack-in-the-Box… This burger was better than a jack in the box burger. Now that is saying something! That is saying something for sure… I cannot wait until the next time I’m in the area and have some friends with me so I can show off this total gem of a place.
The people inside are extremely friendly and funny… And they seem to have a really good connection with the community… Speaking of the community. This food spot is a local staple!
You must come here and try out their burgers!

We stopped by in Duke’s Grill accidentally early morning. Surprisingly, they were opened! Thank God he brought us to this place!! It’s really nice place for breakfast. Very friendly and polite stuff, thanks them for the food and great service! The food was very tasty, fresh and superbly cooked. My girls liked their pancakes! We ordered a lot of food and paid for like two servings!! Definitely recommended this place!

I’m am/was a Monroe kid. I used to mentor Benton Heights in high school for service program. We would always eat at Dukes. That was 1999-2003.
Fast forward. I’m 40. Ate here today and hot dang. Nothing has changed. Except if I remember right they only took cash back then.

Disappointing experience, heard good things about Dukes. I had their chili dogs and was undsr whelmed. Chili was basically ketchup chesee was sliced and not shredded and hot dog was shriveled and over cokked. Fries were luke warm and unfortunately was the best part of the meal.

Superior Plumbing
I have not eaten at Dukes since Ryan and his family took over. Ive always gone to Judds as it’s convenient to where I work and always great food. I met Ryan and his wife when they took over Judds always few years ago and always meeting me with a smile and never bad food the staff has always been so great!!!!! I thought today I would grab a hamburger from Dukes as I was in the area… I must say this Hamburger was the best I’ve eaten in my life from the first bite to last !!!!! ITS A MUST TRY SPOT !!!!! 10
