Excellent service! The food was phenomenal! Flavors complimenting one another. I had the bourbon bacon meatloaf with seasoned fries… the cornbread was there for a reason! It brought out the flavors of the bbq sauce and meatloaf! Def recommend. Reservations aren’t required bur recommended. Reasonable prices as well and super clean restrooms amd restaurant/bar

WOW!!!! I kid you not i basically shed a tear leaving this establishment. Literally everything was PERFECT! We were fortunate enough to come while they had live music playing & although it was a 45 minute wait for a table, we were lucky enough to grab the last 2 seats at the bar which really made our experience 100x better. The ambiance is so quaint & cozy & instantly welcomes you in. The drinks are DELICIOUS!! I got the magnolia my darling & my girlfriend got the espresso martini. Our bartender, Jamie, was a professional & crafted each cocktail with precision, talent & love. I was mesmerized by the way he made each drink. My description wont be effective at describing the entertaining & intimate experience we had so i encourage you to take a seat at the bar & see for yourself. I also had the pleasure of chatting up Anaya (not sure if i spelled that correctly) & Skyelar who were so down-to-earth & sweet. The music contributed to the mood & we also made friends with a sweet bar patron who covered our entire tab (thanks Patrick!) Overall, I am sad that I dont have the luxury of visiting this restaurant again. Everything was so wonderful!!! We had the brisket southwest egg rolls, fiesta mex corn, after midnight burger & tuscan veggie flatbread. Everything was so savory & perfectly plated which were complimented by our drinks. If your are contemplating this or another place choose this place every time!

Give this place a try. We had a large group that all raved about the quality of the food and the wonderful taste. The smoke pimento appetizer was memorable along with all of the entrees our group tried.

We were greeted and sat promptly for our reservation. Grace, our waitress, was very attentive and hospitable. We were there to celebrate a graduation from the University of Tennessee and are very pleased with the experience. We will be returning here! A completely different experience than anywhere we’ve ever been in Knoxville. My wife and I ate an early dinner here Sunday. The restaurant is an old house, thoughtfully decorated to look distressed, making us feel right at home. Every staff member we passed smiled and greeted us. Our server was extremely nice and went an above and beyond for us to sample things we had questions about. Especially the peanut butter wing sauce. Almost every item on the menu is unlike anything we’d seen before. That itself is not only a relief, but very hard for the adventurous indecisive minds, in the best way. Just reading over the menu may wish you could order one of everything. From the Brisket roll appetizers, the ravioli, the Steak wrap, the salted caramel banana dessert, everything was fresh, and outstanding. An absolute unexpected surprise experience in every aspect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you for Ale Rae’s being here! We will drive 1.5 hours again, just to come eat!

Oh my gosh! This place is to die for! Seven of us ate here for brunch on Sunday a couple weeks ago. The food was outstanding. The presentation was out of this world! I tried to bring a group back the next day which happened to be Labor Day and they were closed. I haven’t gotten back there yet with my other friends, but plan on getting there soon! If you have to wait, it would be well worth your wait! The prices were very fair! The service was great and the food was delicious! I’m hearing a lot of locals are eating here! I’ll be back!

We had a great experience at Ale’ Rae’s!! We were celebrating a birthday and they sat us in a wonderful table, and were very gracious with our squirmy toddler, too. The food was fabulous. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer is a must order. Incredible. The pulled pork plate was phenomenal, fries were yummy, and we also enjoyed our cocktails! We will definitely be back 🙂
