Family dining room atmosphere with amazing food and excellent service!
Was home for the holidays and needed a place for 20 people to gather. My buddy suggested this place and got us a reservation. Duke’s turned out to be PERFECT! It’s not the largest place but all 20 of us were very comfortable and the smallness of the dining area made it great for everyone to be able to talk and hear each other without having to scream.
Our server was GREAT! There were 20 of us so she was constantly on the move but it never felt like she was MIA and if I needed something she was never a minute or 3 away.
The food was AWESOME! Everyone gravitated towards the Italian dishes and everyone’s choice created plate envy. I got the Duke’s Diablo with Shrimp and it was both HUGE & AMAZING! Plenty of shrimp with a really good sauce that was spicy and very tasty.

This is the best sit down in Donora. They did a beautiful job with the building inside and out. The Food is quality and delicious. Good beer selection, I Love a good beer ! Great memories with family and friends.

This place is awesome. This is a hidden gem in the Mon Valley. Food was outstanding and generous portions. It was nice to see that someone still gives you a basket of bread with your meal. I will definitely be coming back here.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! It’s been about 10 years since I last visited after moving. The food is superb..best steak in the world cooked to perfection the first time. We’ve tried many steak places..but they can’t get it right when you ask for medium well..slightly pink no blood. The steak here at Dukes Cafe in Donora is huge ..seasoned perfectly and cooked right the first time. Hopefully they get Hines 57 steak sauce..lol but that’s what we like. Please visit Dukes Cafe you will not be disappointed! We’ll be back soon!
