This was our first visit to the restaurant and it did not disappoint! We loved the layout and atmosphere. We hadn’t booked and it was a busy Saturday evening but they found us a table. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive and we felt very well looked after. Now to the food…..absolutely out of this world! I would highly recommend a visit to this amazing restaurant. We will certainly be visiting again soon! Thank you

Duke of Delhi in Norwich is a hidden gem for authentic Indian cuisine. The staff go above and beyond, providing thoughtful recommendations that made our meal unforgettable. We started with the mixed starter, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kurma was rich, creamy, and full of depth, while the sea bass was cooked perfectly with delicate spices that melted in the mouth. We finished with desserts that were indulgent and satisfying, the perfect ending to an incredible meal. The quiet and calm ambiance makes it ideal for a relaxing dining experience. Absolutely top notch and highly recommend!

Booked for a rare midweek family meal out. There was 7 of us, aged 15 to 56.
We were greeted with a very pleasant welcome. We ordered drink while we waited for other family to arrive. We were seated on a lovely big table which made it easy for us to all engage in conversation.
The food was delicious and a few of us changed our minds after staff members recommended something similar or different to try. Which we thought was a lovely touch.
If you do think about trying this lovely place out, I have 2 WARNINGS: 1) Go hungry! The portion sizes are huge! Especially the samosas! Absolutely scrumptious (think cornish pastie size!) And 2) Did I mention the samosas? Consumption could easily cause an addiction.
Overall a beautiful place to dine. Very warm, welcoming, clean. Never rushed. Friendly & attentive staff without being over the top.
Excellent value for money.

Just back from the second birthday meal here in a month. As usual, the food was amazing! A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff go above and beyond to make your visit special. They are very attentive, cheerful and we love that you can have a good laugh with them. So lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether It’s a meal for two or a large group visiting. We had a group of 10 and the service was fantastic!

I have driven past here for years but last night I went. Well I wish I had gone sooner, what a treat. A very warm welcome on arrival and a pristine restaurant and super comfortable too. The food was delicious, but for me the standout was the service just so warm and friendly but not intrusive. I will definitely be going back. Well done Duke of Delhi you got a 10 out of 10 from me!

I had a fantastic experience here. The service was warm and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the team made sure everything ran smoothly from the moment we walked in.

The food was the real highlight. Every dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. The spices were balanced rather than overwhelming, and you could tell a lot of care went into the cooking. The curries had depth, the tandoori items were perfectly cooked, and even the sides were done with attention to detail. Portions were generous without sacrificing quality.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, which made it easy to enjoy the meal and take our time.

Overall, this was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for great food and friendly service. Five stars.

Shelim was our waiter and he was both helpful and gave us advice on all the dishes. The service was faultless and they accommodated our needs in terms of spice levels for each dish. An excellent value for money experience
