The place overall is not entirely bad. However, it is not the best. To elaborate on it, the food is ok but could be better, the service is not good since the waiters rarely come to check on you and disappear for a long time. During our experience we waited for at least 45 minutes, almost an hour, for our food, and the waiter was absent most of the time, she could be seen managing tables from many other areas aside from ours. The food when it arrived was a bit cold and felt reheated, especially the fries, which felt chewy. The kids plate was really…shocking at how very little there came, we ordered a kids burger, with just the patty and fries, but the patty was small and thin, and there were around 16 fries compared to the ones of the adults plate as can be seen in the pictures. Our kid left hungry. We had ordered boneless wings as a starter but they arrived AFTER we had all our main food. Yes, they took an hour to give us our appetizer. Therefore, the food overall wasn’t TOO bad and some plates were actually pretty good but for the amount of time we had to wait it could have been better. So in conclusion, the service was horrible, the lady was not preoccupied with us at all, and the people who brought our food seemed lost, even gave our food to the wrong table.
P.S: We ordered the burger without the bread and all its toppings because the kiddo doesn’t like it and prefers just the beef and fries.

Duffy’s in the Sanford/Lake Mary area is one of those spots you can always count on for solid food and plenty of TVs to catch the game. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a sports grill — football helmets lining the booths, TVs everywhere you look, and a lively but still comfortable vibe.
The food was on point. The full rack of ribs was tender, sauced up perfectly, and paired with corn on the cob — definitely worth ordering if you’re hungry. The buffalo chicken sandwich hit the spot too, with a nice kick and a side of mashed potatoes that were better than I expected. Menu has plenty of variety, and they even run seasonal specials like their Double Smash Burger.
Drinks are a good deal here with their 2-for-1 specials. I tried the Islamorada Ale which was crisp and light, a nice pairing for the heavier dishes.
Service was friendly and fast even with a good crowd in the place.
Overall, Duffy’s is a reliable go-to if you want good food, good portions, and a fun sports bar atmosphere in the Sanford/Lake Mary area.

I’m 95% sure Jacqueline is either **a superhero, a Jedi, or three servers stacked in a trench coat** pretending to be one person. The speed and service were absolutely unexplainable.
The moment our drinks got halfway empty she was already there with refills. I didn’t even see her walk over. One second the table was empty… **next second Jacqueline just spawned like a video game character.**
At one point I’m pretty sure she:
* Took our order
* Ran food to three tables
* Refilled drinks across the restaurant
* Solved a kitchen problem
* Probably helped land a plane somewhere
…all in the time it took me to unfold my napkin.
The craziest part is she was doing all this while being **super friendly, cracking jokes, and somehow remembering everything perfectly.** No forgotten sauces, no missing drinks, no “let me go check on that.” She was already back with it before the thought even finished leaving my brain.
I started testing it. I’d think to myself *“I could use another drink.”* BOOM. Jacqueline appeared like **a hospitality ninja sent from the service gods.**
At this point I’m convinced:
* She has a jetpack hidden somewhere
* There are secret tunnels under Duffy’s
* Or she bends space and time specifically to keep tables happy.
Duffy’s needs to **protect Jacqueline at all costs.** Give her a raise, a trophy, a statue in the parking lot, and possibly a small national holiday.

People are so quick to post complaints and bad experiences, so I thought I would post what an excellent experience we had while visiting central FL recently for a getaway. The food and drinks were were very good. Where this restaurant shined was with th.staff and atmosphere. Our server Conor was superb – attentive, knowledgeable and most of all smiling and personable. Since we were out of town, our group had a lot of questions and Conor cheerfully answered all of our questions without getting annoyed or making us feel rushed, even though the place was busy. He actually made our experience feel personable. Atmosphere is fun! We will come back next time we are in town…and will ask for Conor! Would recommend this place – reasonable prices, good food, fun atmosphere and staff

Service was great. But the fact that we waited over 10 minutes to be seated in a three quarters empty restaurant is no good. Nobody at the front to even greet us as you can see by the picture the stand is empty. Its no wonder this place is always empty on busy nights and all the other places in this plaza are busy.

Chase the manager is so sweet and accommodating, i saw him checking up on every customer when they were eating to make sure all was well , and he made sure I left the restaurant happy with my food and service after a mix up with my food. He was picking up plates and helping out the servers, he had great energy and super adorable. Made is enjoyable to eat here. Thanks Chase !

I usually never ever write reviews, but I had to reach out. I had a fantastic server. His name was Conor. He made the experience very enjoyable. He had great suggestions and recommendations for appetizers and drinks. This was my first time actually dining at Duffy. If anyone has the opportunity to stop at this location definitely ask for a young man by the name of Conor who made it well worth it.

We were there Saturday night. They weren’t that busy, but the service was slow. We weren’t disappointed with the person who waited on us, just the fact that service was slow. We’ll definitely go back though because we like the food, the atmosphere and the never ending happy hour. Generally the service is good. Everyone has an off night! Not holding it against them. I’m just being honest about this particular visit.
