We come here about once a month for Christine’s Wednesday QUIZZO. We’ve had most of the sandwiches and bar food which has all been great. They always have different beers on tap which we love. The service is usually good but we’ve had some confusion or mishaps. Overall it’s a fun bar with good food.

Went to have appetizers with a friend and sat at the bar which we usually do. The bartender was ok but didn’t seem to want to be bothered with people who aren’t regulars..had her before and got the same exact vibe. I recently quit drinking 12 weeks ago and requested a mojito without the liquor. Immediately she states “no not for a virgin. I am not going outside to get mint for a virgin drink and this is the time we are getting busy”. My friend and I were taken aback and thought she was possibly kidding….yet Instead of offering another option she seemed rather annoyed I was there at her bar at all and made it rather clear that us non regular people were in her space and not worth her time. Not once were we asked how we were doing or if we liked the food. She was very passive aggressive and only bothered with us as she felt necessary. The food is always good and on point. As much as I was disappointed, i work in the healthcare field and know times are tough and maybe she was having a bad day….I still tipped. Many I know wouldn’t have even given 5 percent. I cant turn a patient away of care no matter if its busy or the end of my shift and i didnt feel like going above and beyond….That is just apart of my career. I feel it was very unprofessional the way she spoke to us and service was sub par. Most likely wont be visiting again for a long time.

We went for lunch around 2pm and the flies inside were horrible. We had to shoo them arat from our food consatly and they were landing on the table and windows. The waiter was odd and didnt seem to know how to wait tables. Seemed more like he thought he was hanging out with buddies. Dont remember the food cause it was a bizarre experience.

Raised their prices with smaller portions. I supported Duffers during covid with take out and this takeout I just received is unacceptable and a joke. 6 bucks for a half bucket of fries and the pretzel bites are always hard. Nope no more.

We were back home for a visit. We were going to grab a drink and head out for a cheesesteak. Saw the menu and grabbed one there. Really loved it , the bartenders and met some wonderful customers. Will definitely go back when we return.
