This is a walk up window with a few tables around the window, but the bar next-door will allow you to bring food in. I can highly recommend the fries, the grilled cheese and salad. The poutine was good but super salty.

Duck Fat is a must! Absolutely blown away by the food here, all of it was worthy of a standing ovation. The Pulled Pork sandwich was probably one of the best I’ve had, we had to get a second one. To top it all off the blueberry buttermilk milkshake is worthy of 100 stars alone, a non-negotiable for anyone stopping by!

If you’re anywhere near Portland and don’t stop at Duckfat, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

The Jerk and Thai wings are nothing short of divine — perfectly crispy on the outside, insanely juicy inside, and bursting with flavor in every bite. Then come the sauces… absolute pure bliss. Bold, rich, and crafted so well you’ll want to dunk everything in sight.

And the fries?
Legendary. Golden, shatter-crisp, fluffy in the middle, and clearly fried with love (and duck fat magic). Easily some of the best fries you’ll ever have — the kind you keep thinking about days later.

Every bite feels indulgent, intentional, and unforgettable. Duckfat isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Would go back again and again without hesitation.

I love the setup with the brewery next door. You can sit down at the brewery table and order your food from your phone. They will deliver your fries. We got the Poutine. I was a little worried about how expensive they were. I think the price is reasonable with how big the portions are, though. I love that the layer the gravy and cheese curbs throughout.

It’s fine. We’re fine. Everything is fine out here.

I have been hearing about Duckfat for 5+ years now, ever since I was hired by a company in MA and everyone there seemed to know about this place. For years, I have had 2 places on the “must do” list for Portland, and this was 1 of them. And at the end of the day, this is all fine. It’s good.

That said, the ultra high expectations and 5-year wait proved to be too much of a reach to meet them. At the end of the day, the fries were good, solidly crispy, and maybe a tad salty but we crushed them. The poutine was fine, but I cannot say it was out of this world. It was fine, solid 4 of 5. And the lobster roll was…I don’t know, just there. It wasn’t a roll so much as a patty. It was fine.

I am probably being unfair but it was good, not amazing. Solid 4 of 5 and while I would go back, I am not going to jump up & down and say you gotta do this. But sure, if you’re here, do this.

Great little spot to chill. Quite corner with great atmosphere. Fries are great with the sauces. Fries chicken well seasoned. Pull pork on the saltier side. Homemade lemonade was good too.

We picked the poutine, which was okay but nothing to write home about. Maybe expectations were too high given the hype.

We sat in the garden area—very cute and relaxing, but there aren’t many tables, so I can see it getting tricky when it’s busy.

Overall, a decent spot but didn’t blow me away.

Walked here after the Duckfat restaurant said they had a 2+ hour wait. Incredible sourdough grilled cheese to accompany a beer at the connected brewery.

Fries are good if a little on the pricey side. Nice outdoor seating options

A must stop on any excursion to Portland. Get the 5 sauce sampler to accentuate the fries experience. We also indulged on the donut poppers with caramel sauce which was a unquestionably unique experience of salt, sweet and richness.

Be sure to take a long walk after to burn off those calories!!!
