The bar and the smokehouse restaurant is all in the same building. You order and they bring it to you. The Alaskan local red ale was good. The salmon chowder, halibut sammy, n chilli cheese fries were all good. Friendly customer service. It was a decent place for a tourist trap.

Food was nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was nice, but on a cold wet day it would have been more comfortable if they could have closed the doors to keep some heat in the dining area. The outside area had a nice fire pit and a great view of the waterway was available at almost every seat inside or out. Not much of a selection of beer for my taste. All I wanted was a good thick dark Stout, no such luck. The architecture was a high beamed ceiling type of a design, maybe another reason why it was cold, but visually appealing! I’m sure this place gets a ton of business in peak season.

We ordered a couple of drinks while we were waiting for food from the attached restaurant. The bartender was nice and the drinks were made pretty quick. The view was remarkable. My wife saw a whale from a window.
