Have you ever seen donughts made from scratch then topped with fresh toppings right in front of you ? Well this is the place. Delicious freshly made donughts soft & creamy. Lovely aroma of coffee served hot. A lovely store with ample seating arrangements & parking. Easy to order sit and relax. Definitely a must visit store.

Whenever I’m craving donuts, Duck Donuts is where I come. I try not to buy a dozen or half a dozen because I usually end up eating most if not all of them. There’s nothing like freshly made hot Duck donuts. Have I mentioned you can customize each donut exactly the way you want? The flavor combinations are endless. See pics for details. I usually keep it super simple and go with cinnamon sugar or glazed donuts. Other options can be a little too sweet for me but know that you can go as crazy as you want.
If you want to sit down and have a coffee/donut break, you have plenty of places to sit. However, this place isn’t known for its coffee. The décor and ambiance are mostly essential. The ordering kiosks make it easy for you to select what you want but the staff is usually not that busy to take your order in person. Speaking of the staff, they work as fast as the donut-making machine. People usually pick up and go. You’ll be outta there in no time.

Came here as I had a bit of time between meetings and had not tried this establishment before. I ordered a plain glazed donut and a mocha. The donut was served hot and was light and fluffy. The mocha was a bit of a letdown as the blend was off with the dark chocolate lacking to achieve the appropriate flavor blend. The establishment itself was held back by the lease. You can tell they have tried to touch up but the base building is very dingy.

I visite this location on 2/28/26 there is one guy work there unprofessional and disrespectful. he wants to chat but I didn’t go there to chat with him I was there for business he said hello on my native language I reply back and keep waiting on the order he wants to keep talking I ignore him and I talk with the woman who is working on my order she is very nice and hard working women older spanish women. He needs to learn how to respect customer and be professional!!!!!! He scream and telling me he is the owner for nothing

Awful catering experience — AVOID!!
I had a terrible experience picking up catering for a company event from the Herndon Duck Donuts. I ordered several days ahead of time at set the pick-up time for 7AM. I arrived at 7 and the store had not started preparing any part of my order. I waited until about 7:45 and left with less than one-third of what I had paid for. I asked the manager for a refund and he said because I paid online that he would not do that. When I asked him why my order was taking so long, he gave a vague “the machine doesn’t work” and refused to take any accountability. When I asked his coworker, he said that he got in late that morning. The manager consistently ignored me when I tried to ask him how much longer the order would take and when he did respond he just said “it’s not my fault” or “just one more minute”. He caused me to be late to work, but did not care. By the time I got to work, the event I was catering for was over. This was an awful, unprofessional experience from the entire staff. DO NOT ORDER CATERING FROM HERE!!

Their donuts are awesome but I had to wait 20-30 minutes to pickup my order.
I ordered two boxes of dozen and three individual donuts. They serviced at least 10 people who came after me. When I asked why I am not getting my order full filled they said it is because my order is large.

We first went to Duck Donuts in Kitty Hawk, NC and really liked it. The donuts were really fresh and hot (just made, duh!). Very light cakey very well balanced taste.
Once they appeared in our area, we went to check them out. And, yep, there it was, the same freshly done amazing donuts.
They’re so soft and fresh that I wish the store had forks and knives to eat them.

We ordered a random dozen donuts for delivery and got the literal laziest presentation of donuts I’ve ever seen. I didn’t order a custom batch to make it easy for them to make donuts on a busy Saturday morning because the photos of the random dozen on the menu show normal Duck Donut outcomes with toppings and variety. This really stinks. So now, after paying $25 for these, I’m ordering Dunkin.
