Very very kind compassionate people work here, the food is amazing! the Philly Brisket is especially good, and they make very good breakfast biscuits too. I am a hobo, and I was stuck at the nearby campsite during inclement weather and when I wasn’t feeling 100 percent for a week or so, and even when I ran out of what little cash I had they were generous and helped me out with food and allowed me to rest inside when I needed to. You don’t run into many nice people anymore and these folks were very compassionate. The normal crowd at this bar is also very laid back and nice. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this road to hobos or hikers because the shoulders aren’t very wide and most of the drivers aren’t very courteous to pedestrians or bicyclists, but if you are passing this way this is a joint that I’d heavily recommend. Good, hearty, homecooked food, a friendly atmosphere and laid back owners and clientele, what isn’t to love about that? Thank you to the owners and workers for your hospitality, generosity and compassion, it is much appreciated!

I like to go there to get the catfish plate. 3 or5 peice fish w/hush puppy and slice of onion and 2 sides.i usually get the3 w/Cole slaw and if. Very good every time I get it any day of the week.they have a large menu to pick from. And daily specials. You can play pool or darts while you wait for your food.if you like to play poker.that is every Sunday night at 7pm check it out.hope you enjoy it

Friendly atmosphere,good food, great service. Entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. Daily special’s on food and drink’s. Come on out and give yourself an enjoyable break from the everyday stresses. Duck season had began. We serve breakfast at 4 am. Buffet, quick sand which or order from the menu.
