Very nice Italian restaurant and bar! Smoked Old Fashioned (with Ancho chili liqueur) was EXCELLENT! Pappardelle pasta dish and Salmon dish were both perfectly prepared. Affogato desert coffee was great. Loved the antique espresso machine! Very nice atmosphere, good service in a beautiful old building. Perfect date night place. Highly recommend!

Wow! Bar Bosco is excellent! Jordan was our server and he could not have been anymore incredible! He appealed to the Cajun in me after mentioning his favorite meal in the menu, and I ordered without hesitation. It was incredible! I can’t remember the name, but ask Jordan if you’re lucky enough to have him as a server. I was the DD so I did not have a cocktail, but my colleagues raved about them. The atmosphere, food, and service create an elevated dining experience that will leave you planning your next trip to Bar Bosco as you’re walking out the door!

Joseph was our waiter and was fantastic! I ordered a medium rare steak and was served well done. Before I could say anything, he grabbed it and had it remade while waiting near the broiler until he knew it was perfect. Everything about this experience was exactly what I anticipated and expected. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees were amazing. We go to restaurants for experiences and we’re not disappointed. 10/10 will return. (Try the old fashioned. It’s great!)

What an amazing dinner! Caesar salad, lasagne and pasta bolognese were all delicious. Generous portions served with yummy bread. Gelato was a great dessert to end a lovely meal.
We were greeted with limoncello on the house as we had a tiny wait for our table.
Service was great. Can’t wait to be back on our next trip to Terre Haute!

This was an absolutely incredible experience.
My family had the opportunity to go to Italy recently, and our experience at this restaurant brought back some amazing memories of Italy. This was truly little Italy in Terre Haute.
This little restaurant has such incredible atmosphere and the food was really good as well. I loved the service that we got as well. It was also really cool that you got to sit in the same room where they made the pizza And see where they made the pasta. What a gem to have in Terre Haute.

I had a great experience here. The gnocchi with pork was savory, creamy, and packed with flavor! The decor is immaculate, and its a great higher end place to visit in Terre Haute if you are visiting for a work trip. Service was also fantastic.

We love having Bar Bosco as a semi-local place. The closest thing to eating real Italian food without being in Italy. Nice atmosphere (for my personal preference the music could be a softer genre & slightly quieter). We love the tomato jam that comes with the bread service. Our caprese was great. My pear ravioli tonight rivaled my favorite dish I had in my 2 trips to Italy. I adore that they make their pasta in house! However….the affogatos stole the show. They have probably the best espresso I’ve ever had and the little meringue in with the gelato was a fantastic touch!

Heard nothing but rave reviews from friends and disappointed is an understatement. The service was just okay and the atmosphere was great if you enjoy top 100 pop music that stopped and started every 15 minutes leaving an atmosphere of awkward silence. The bread came cold, with what I presume to be the same quality of butter you’d find in your grandmothers fridge. Unlike the bland butter the tomato jam was fantastic, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The appetizer we ordered was the goat cheese and tomato sauce that was also very delicious, served this time with slightly above room temperature bread that could chip a tooth. Our entrees were something I could only presume to be made less with love and more cold indifference. The chicken Marsala was dry and chewy intermittently with a sauce that was irrefutably watered down. The fettuccine Alfredo was creamy but lacked any flavor that you would associate with the dish, it had a milk flavor distinctly missing Parmesan or Romano. Overall it would be wiser to just save your money and time to just go to Olive Garden or fazolis.

Wonderful! We made reservations for a belated Valentine’s dinner, and everything was fantastic. Building is very cool. Drinks were great. Service was attentive. Food was so delicious. We had the salame appetizer. I got the bolonese for dinner, and the cannoli for dessert. The cannoli was deconstructed which I wasn’t expecting, but so tasty and flavorful! The Rosemary Gimlet is also fantastic cocktail. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent wait staff and delicious cuisine, my go to for a relaxing and pampered evening! P.S. I have dietary restrictions and I don’t worry at all here because the ingredients are from scratch and the recipes are altered by tge chef to meet my needs without compromising the high quality of the dishes!
