Regular patron of this restaurant. Drinks are always great. Food portions are better when you eat at the establishment. Take-out always seems to be in much smaller portions. Occasionally, they forget condiments or to omit certain ingredients I specifically request to omit. When it is packed, it can be loud, but typically, even when it is packed, I mean, every table is full, it’s still enjoyable. Cannot wait for the deck and mini golf to open back up for the season! Service is always fantastic, staff are personable, polite and attentive to those who are at the bar. The long tables do not offer waitstaff except to deliver food from the kitchen. It’s a cute little place. Prices are reasonable. Decent menu for pub food. Burgers, mac n cheese, and salads are fantastic! Only real downfall is the takeout portions are noticably smaller. My last salad was barely a side salad, onion rings seem to be 1/2 the portion for take out. Not sure why this is when we pay the same price for eat in. Otherwise I would give this place a 5 star across the board everyday.

Beautiful view from the parking lot. Can eat outside in warmer weather. Order your food, find a seat and they bring it out to you. Delicious food with good portions. Love having leftovers for the next day!

So mixed feelings. Great location with view of golf course & Mt Monadnock. Excellent tap selection of New England craft beers!!!! However wasn’t getting any warm fuzzies from the server….just plain awful!! Ordered Mac n Cheese and it didn’t taste cheesy at all. Seemed watered down a huge disappointment. However the Wings bone in were fantastic as well the fries were crispy and tasty. Plus Happy hour 4-6pm $1 off craft beer and $1wings was a nice incentive. So like I said it’s a mixed review. Guess take some good with the bad. I’ll know what to look for next time. Still worth a visit.

Staff were all super friendly (and patient). Alcohol and drink selections were voluminous. This place does not a real kitchen so think bar food. The prices were reasonable and service was quick. The portion size was large. The food was lacking in real flavor. The atmosphere was nice and the views were amazing.

Great selection of beer on tap, 24 taps! I had the maple cheddar burger and my husband had the bacon blue burger. Both were excellent. We sat at the bar but did not feel crowded. The service was excellent and the servers were so friendly. We had a lady of the lake-Able Ebenezer and a gunner milk stout, both excellent! We will definitely come back again.

We stumble into this place on our way out to hike Mount Monadnock. It was very quiet when we got there (around 3PM on a Tuesday) we thought it was closed but they’re OPEN! You have to climb up the stairs to access the restaurant door from the deck, and the view was stunning!
I ordered their Maple Cheeseburger and it was delicious! It was a huge burger with tons of fries on the side! ( I was about to go hiking so I didn’t mind the extra calories).
Inside was humongous with all wood ceilings that made you feel warm!
I have to mention that in the women’s bathroom, that red striped chair has to go!! (I hope the owners read this) I won’t post a picture because I am not here to be negative.

The food is good. We were there on wing night and while waiting we noticed the staff walking around, and alas! Out of wings. I asked staff if this was unusual, and was informed this was to be expected. It was about 45 minutes before we got our order, so do not go in a rush. To be clear, we were not in a hurry, just a warning.

This was the first time I actually went in to get my food from the taproom, and it was quite a pleasant experience. Their turkey BLT was 12 bucks, and adding onion rings only costed 1 dollar extra. Including tax it came out 14 dollars.
For what was the best BLT I’ve had locally, not a bad price 🙂
The atmosphere is very comfy, and you have a nice view of the mountain.
I’ve heard it gets busy later at night, but on this Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t extremely busy.
The employees were polite and accommodating, which is always a plus.
I might also add that if you’d rather not eat in, you can place an order for pickup by calling in.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to other people.
It’s perfect for if you just finished playing a round of golf or climbing the mountain.
