They are the best!!!! I went here with my sister late at night and they made us feel so safe. We ordered two beef rice bowls. It was delicious! They gave us free soup! And large cup of karak chai when we ordered small. Best in service and big hearted people with delicious food! Highly recommend them! May Allah provide barakah in their business Ameen.

I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food and have been to many different spots, so I was excited to try Dubai Grill. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.
• The Food: The food was just “alright.” It lacked the vibrant, fresh flavors I usually expect from this cuisine. Honestly, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while rather than being freshly prepared to order. It wasn’t bad, but it was definitely bland.
• The Service: The service is very transactional—very much like a fast-food restaurant. You walk in, they make your food, and that’s it. There’s no real hospitality or welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a quick, convenient bite, this place works, but if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean food and good service, there are better options out there.

Best middle eastern place on campus. Offers wide variety of middle eastern options. I got the chicken Kebab plate and it was great. The kebab was spicy and the tahini sauce added extra flavor. Also got 3 toppings with it.
This place has THE BEST blueberry cheesecake on the campus.
The only downside is it’s WAY expensive for the portion sizes they give.

After finishing campus tour at UIUC, we noticed this Middle East restaurant: Dubai Grill. The restaurant looks really clean and nice, and we love middle East food!
It turned out to be an excellent choice. We ordered Gyros, Sultan Bowl and Turkish coffee. All taste great! Also very friendly service. Highly recommend Dubai Grill for a healthy and delicious meal!

This is one of my favorite restaurants on campus! The food is delicious and great quality, portions are big enough for 2 meals, and the workers are always friendly. Today they gave us a free pot of tea. Great place!

Food was delicious! Staff was kind, informative, and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend the chai karak, falafel, tomato cucumber salad, chicken shawarma, and baklava! If you don’t know what to get, ask the staff and they will point you in the right direction. They care about the food and your experience. We came hungry and left absolutely stuffed (we took the baklava to go!) We will be dining there again!

I just had chai at Dubai grill.
It’s okay but not great. It tasted very similar to the chai we make at home. Nothing special except it’s expensive. The price of around $3 per cup does not justify the taste.

Dubai Grill is great! Delicious food and excellent service. We had a catering order that got lost due to a computer error and the owner was kind enough to drive out to bring gift cards to my guests as an apology. I wish we had gotten the food but I really appreciate the extra effort!

Really good food and even better service! Got the chicken shawarma plate and the gyro plate and both were super filling and tasted great. They give quite a large portion, easily enough to take home leftovers for another meal. The people working were extremely kind and hospitable and I’m so glad we found this spot!
