Edit so this is first: MACEY IS SO SWEET! She is a godsend! If I typed for an hour it wouldn’t be enough to express how lovely our experience was. This is the first time we’ve visited and it has had such a huge impact. If you’re torn between any other restaurant in the area, this IS the one! They treat you completely and wholely as an individual here! When they talk to you and take care of you it is like there isn’t anyone else in the room, and you’re the utmost most important person! I recommend Macey. She was our waiter.

Picked up two pizzas and garlic knots. Pizza was excellent. Garlic knots were a bit greasy but still tasty. They turned around the order quickly, ~ 30 minutes. But real highlight was the staff. I arrived early (before the promised time) and had to wait ~ 5 minutes for my pickup. Both the hostess and bar tender were incredibly friendly and hospitable, offered me water and a seat at the bar while I waited. It’s a small detail but not many places still give that sort of attention to customer service anymore, it was noticed and appreciated.

Wow! Prices were lower than I expected. The lasagna was amazing! Flavorful and just the right amount of each ingredient. The owner said it is her family recipe and you can tell because there was a lot of love in that dish. Service was so so but I believe it’s because the server we had was inexperienced and not from a lack of effort. Restaurant was clean and the bathroom was clean which believe it or not the bathroom is a good indicator of how they maintain the hidden kitchen area. Place was packed and people had to wait for seating because the food is that good.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE D’s! She is always there greeting with a smile and making sure things run smoothly. Please be aware though for carryout, these prices online are not current. Our recent carryout order was double what this menu pictured reflected which was quite disappointing but the food was amazing just as it is when we dine it:)

This cute little Italian restaurant in Southport is absolutely amazing. The decor is beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great and the prices were right on point! The chocolate peanut butter dessert I got was superb! I definitely recommend D’s Italian restaurant!

People super friendly we were treated like family! We showed up to NICE Italian restaurant in flip flops and shorts we graciously welcomed. My husband had chicken Alfred as always but so much better then the rest (and I have tried a lot including my own) this was best ever home made! I had seafood brandy cream sauce pasta (horrible with names) amazing! Again totally home made ! And the bread to die for and last but not least home made! Really enjoyed this meal ! makes Olive Garden look like spaghetti o’s out of a can!
