I live about 2 hours away from here but will definitely be back. I never eat out and usually bake our own goodies so when I say the food way 10/10 I mean it!! Good food is hard to find nowadays! We didn’t mind the prices either, I think our pastries for the four of us was only $16. Food was toddler friendly as well !!

Dropout Bakery is the place that makes every other bakery look like they’re just doing homework while these peeps are writing a thesis on flavor. Everything they bake is a full grade above the status quo, a solid A+ in deliciousness every time.
What really blows me away is that they come out with a new menu every single week. That’s not just baking, that’s creative research and development. You can literally taste the thought, effort, and technique that goes into every batch. It’s like they’ve got a team of dessert scientists working overtime in there, fueled by butter and cane sugar
I’ve been cutting out sugar lately, trying to make better choices. But Dropout Bakery is the one exception I happily make. Their treats are just too good to pass up, and you can really taste the care and quality in every bite.
And let’s be honest, creating a business is not easy. Starting something new and having it actually do well is a serious accomplishment. You can tell the owners put love, care, and a bit of magic into everything they do. Dropout Bakery is proof that when passion meets pastry, everybody wins.
The ambience has its own style and uniqueness, it feels collegiate, creative, and laid-back all at once. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a bit longer, like a family bbq.
If you haven’t been, go. Just don’t blame me when you start planning your week around their new menu drops.
P.S. I love this place

First time here. I couldn’t find price anywhere for bakery. Price for coffee is also not clear (like how much for switching to oat milk?) so after all I spent a little more than expected for 2 pastry and 3 coffees. Food is okay. You are here more for the “atmosphere”.

Stop by for a nice relaxing drink. Great place to sit and enjoy time with friends…or just by yourself. Note: order food ahead of time or arrive very early as they sell out fast.

Stopped at Dropout Bakery on our way home from the beach and it was a total win. Immaculate vibes, plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around, and everything we tried was delicious. There was a short wait, but totally worth it for the quality and flavor. Would absolutely stop again.

One of the top best latte I’ve ever had. Coming from local coffee shops around Baldwin county to NYC. I got the Mardi Gras latte and it reminded me exactly like it. Very sweet too. I’ve tried a couple Mardi Gras lattes from other places but they don’t remind me nothing of it but this place.

The cutest bakery with unique pastry options in Mobile, AL!
My only complaint about Dropout Bakery is that it’s not closer to me!
Atmosphere: The interior and exterior have a very clean aesthetic with white being their primary color, but they spice it up with plants, wall art, neon signs, and pops of pink!
Service: The ladies that were working there that day packaged all of our goodies up nicely for us and helped us in choosing the best options from what they had left!
Menu items: I got the butter croissant and peanut butter banana cookie! Everything was SO, SO GOOD! The cookie is honestly the best one I’ve ever had (and I love a good cookie)!
Their menu consists of croissants, pop tarts, moon pies, cookies, and specialty items—cinnamon rolls, brownies, cake, and more!

the cutest bakery with the most AMAZING croissants, buttery and flaky literally perfect. The droptarts, bagels, the cinnamon rolls oh my goodness i can go on. Whenever there is sourdough on the menu you need to get!!!! Try your best to come early because everyone will line up just waiting on the delicious pastries. The workers make you feel welcomed with a smile on their face and lacey, the owner, is a ray of sunshine and you can tell how hard she and everyone works and how much they love serving these pastries. 100/10 will always be my favorite bakery!!!!

This place was delicious. It was a little on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality of the food. They have a cute outdoor seating area. We got a variety of things- croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies- and loved them all!

I ordered a vegan cake for son’s wedding. Plus a cheese cake for Christmas. Told the owner would do a great job decorating. Also told to pick it up Monday before Christmas. Showed up Monday and no cakes. Came back Tuesday, vegan cake absolutely sparse. No decorations. Cheese cake not ready. Waited another hour. Very disappointed in cakes and service. 235 dollars for two mostly uneaten cakes I threw away today. Not sure exactly the problem. But organized and efficient my experience was not. I had high hopes. Everyone nice. Atmosphere very cool. Service and product lacking. Cost very much not worth the price.
