So initial impressions walking in was not the greatest. Facility was presentable but the staff member at the register was not exactly friendly. When ordering a combo meal I asked to confirm if it comes with a drink, to which the staff member replied no. Clearly the menu states “all combos include a fountain drink”. I pointed that out and he just shakes his head and repeats it’s not included and looks at me like I’m the idiot here. I moved on asking for a drink as well and suggested they update the menu since that’s false advertising. He replies with some mumbled response to the effect of he can’t change it.

Staff interactions aside, the food was good. Chicken is definitely on the hotter side, I was glad I went the safe route and got medium spice for my 1st visit, enjoyable but spicy. Fries were good as well, crispy and seasoned well.

I think my review wouldve been much higher if the dude just acknowledged there was a discrepancy on the menu and they just haven’t had a chance to change it yet. May or may not return, which is unfortunate because I frequent that area in my travels.

I’ve been in Tracy for almost a decade now and was almost bored of all the eating places when Drippin Chicken popped up. What a refreshing change. The flavour is out of this world and the quantity is great. I tried the sandwich and the veggie tenders. Both were out of this world. Their seasoning and house sauces are delicious. Nice clean place with great music. My little cousins loved the wall art. Definitely coming back for more! It is my new favourite in town. A must visit for any foodie out there.

Overall a reasonable option but more pricy than I expected (comparing to options like Dave’s hot chicken). We tried sandwich combo, chicken strips and fries. Fries particularly were really good, I recommend go with medium spicy option. The one between no spices and medium spicy is actually sweet and doesn’t make sense.

Not sure what happened. This place used to be fire
Door handle is very very dirty, they changed the bread for the toast. It is now a different long thin shaped bread that you can not use to “taco” your tender and eat it. Almost had to just eat the bread separately from the tender but i ended up getting the hang of it. Not a soul in sight. The new kiosk menu will not read your chip properly (i went with friends and it did the same thing with 3 different cards). They most recently switched to small cups only and no free refills
I really do love this place and am a regular and have been a regular for the past 2 years. At this time i will stop coming to eat here. I really hope they get it together because it is the only nashville hot chicken spot in the valley that has a veggie option for chicken.

Absolute gem of a place! Really neat artwork on the walls when you walk in. One of the late great Kobe Bryant! Super kind and friendly staff. The food is absolutely incredible! Hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. If your traveling through MAKE THIS PLACE A STOP, If you’re a local you are so lucky to have such a fine establishment in your town. Im definitely coming by anytime im in the area.

I had been told about this new chicken joint for a few months and finally was able to try it.

Before I begin, they offer two sauces:
Drippin sauce, which is cheesy and Dippin sauce, which is sweet and tart like 1000 Island.

We arrived, first customers of the day, and it is obvious that the owners/operators are NOT restaurant people. There are “flow” issues inside, there are not enough garbage cans, and they do not wipe down the tables or clean the soda machine.

I would suggest To Go orders.

I ordered a 3-piece with fries Medium hot, nothing too extravagant, and kept it simple. The chicken was juicy and cooked good, and the fries were crispy-ish.

The chicken has a batter type coating that is BBQ dry-rub mixed with Chili Powerd for heat and Paprika, too. I believe it is also gluten-free, although I can not say for sure.

The fries were also sprinkled with the BBQ rub after cooking, which was a surpirse.

The uninspired Mac and Cheese was a letdown. The pasta was overboiled, and the cheese sauce was badly watered down. I added the Drippin sauce to my Mac n Cheese, and it was way better.

The service was excellent, very friendly and professional.

Love the spitfire logo, but the food it was not even like to say ok. Ordered a side of fried pickle and it was super greasy you can tell that they don’t clean the fryers that much, tenders were not even that hot even though I ordered hot. Fried pickles were $5 but in the computer is $6 the FOH employee left to the kitchen and it was in there for more than 10 mins couldn’t even help me about the false advertisement of the price of the side of fried pickles cause he couldn’t fix it, it was just one tender for the bowl meanwhile Angry Chickz is 2 tenders for the same price. It was a slow shift and food took forever also. I wish I could get my money but I guess that would not happen.

Got the “boneless chicken wings” which turned out to be cubed chicken that was so dry and stringy we were trying to figure out if it had been reheated or just left in the fryer too long. No one was in the restaurant when we went for lunch which should have been a warning sign. The guy behind the counter was friendly but once he took our order we only saw him again when he brought out our food and then disappeared again. The review about the tables not wiped down was accurate. The front door handle was filthy as was the “door” for the trash receptacle. My Mac n Cheese loving kids took one bite and pushed it away. Of the cheese curds, only a few had cheese left in them after frying. They do make delicious fries though that were crispy and sprinkled with a BBQ rub.

So excited to finally try!!
Atmosphere would have been great but unfortunately the music of choice playing in dining area was gangster rap.. ok for adults but inappropriate for a family. The menu was not specific on what included in meal/plate. When asking they cashier didn’t seem to know either. I did research IG to see images of food B4 ordering as they are no images on menu… The was no reference on spice level of wings either. I like medium spice but level 3 had no spice.. it was tasty just not spicy. Overall, I would return but only for takeout.

First time eating here, chicken at mild is WAY too spicy! It’s not edible, the fries have a sweet, off putting flavor. Definitely do not suggest.
There was absolutely no customers in the store.
