Cool college town coffee shop. Food options are excellent and willing to make modifications for vegans. Coffee is amazing! Non-dairy with Soy milk included.

This is one of my favorite spots — the breakfast sandwiches are consistently delicious, and I’ll keep coming back. But I’ve got to call out something that really bugs me: the cost of adding avocado, and WAY too much seasoning on the home fries.
I’ll start with the home fries cuz that’s pretty simple. I order the burrito bowl frequently and typically it is so overpowering and spicy that I can’t finish it this morning. Wiped and scraped off all the salt and pepper seasoning on the home fries, going through four full paper towels and have at least a tablespoon worth of salt and pepper. Please cool it on the seasoning shaker.
Per the avocado: I paid $4 extra to add avocado to my $7.50 sandwich — over 50% of the base price — and what I got was maybe a quarter of a single avocado. A whole avocado at the grocery store costs between $0.70 and $0.99, which means the actual avocado used on my sandwich cost the restaurant about 25 cents. So I paid $4 for something that costs under a quarter — that’s a 1,500% markup!!!
I get that restaurants need to make a profit, but this feels less like a fair upcharge and more like price gouging. I’d happily pay $1 or $1.50 — even $2 if I get a satisfying mouthful of avo. But $4 for a quarter of an avocado? That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth (and not from the food).
Please reconsider the pricing on this (same could be said for adding bacon or any other add on really). Loyal customers like me want to feel good about every part of the experience — not like we got avocado-robbed.

Cute cafe, in UD’s campus area. The place was clean, quaint, with nice staff. The caramel apple pancakes were delicious (ordered without bacon), the stuffed french toast was pretty good, but the middle was uncooked, mushy. The lavender honey latte was really good. I wish they had a vegetarian bacon or sausage, that would have made my meal. Our fries came long after our meal, they were ok. We will definitely return, maybe try lunch.

Wasn’t a fan of the food. But, the coffee was great, the service was great (and friendly), the vibe was great, etc. This place gets quite crowded due to the popularity so l recommend getting there early if you want to just enjoy the company of strangers. The seating is a bit awkward but just kind of works. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Very impressed with Drip. The food was delicious. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was super friendly. I don’t eat pork and I didn’t know that there was bacon on my pancakes. They were so nice and understanding. Made me a new one immediately. Definitely going back to try other things on the menu!

Absolutely delicious food and beautiful outdoor seating. Allergen friendly!!! Everything is homemade and they provide samples for everything. Delicious coconut late with lavender syrup. Buttermilk pancakes are amazing light and not heavy. Had 2 one plain one banana chocolate chip. The flavor is amazing. Highly recommend the Cali. I asked for an easy egg not fried so I can have the yolk break on my sandwich. I used only 1 piece of bread. everything is amazing there. Great staff as well very helpful and never make you feel rushed. Will definitely be back soon.

Quiet and clean place. Nice tea bag selection. Fresh pastries were available. There’s vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The chai latte was not great but the food was seasoned well and taste fresh.

I feel like this place has so much potential but I’m not sure I’ll be back. Two weeks in a row I ordered a breakfast sandwich. If you can’t make a decent bacon/sausage egg and cheese then that’s a problem! The amount of food to bread ratio is off. Either use smaller bread or give 2 eggs instead of 1 tiny egg and small piece of meat for a sandwich. The cheese was completely missing last week. This week they had to have only put a few sprinkles. The price is low and that’s great except I’d rather them charge more and give a great product. This is just a sad waste.

My cousin texted me last minute that she was coming down to the Newark location and i just so happened to be off. I am soooooo glad i was off.
The picture below does not do the food any justice. I could not believe how big the pancakes were and the amount of bacon was devine. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very coffe shop esk. My cousin has been back every day since. And this was about two weeks ago. I look forward to getting back there and trying something else from the menu.
