Fantastic experience! The restaurant offers truly authentic Ecuadorian and Colombian dishes, all made fresh and full of flavor. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. Super convenient free parking in the back and delicious food. The arepa was fluffy and delicious and we got to try both of the soup specials which were delicious. I unfortunately ate too fast and didn’t get a photo but the portions are super generous. The seating area out front was so cute and our server was so sweet and kind. I will be stopping by here again for sure!

Steak sandwich was great. Their hot sauce isn’t too spicy, so I added a good amount of that.
Just got a regular drip coffee and I appreciated that they frothed the milk without even asking for it.
If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels I would definitely recommend walking over for lunch instead of spending $30 at one of the hotel restaurants

Great Portuguese bakery. People is very nice and their food is excellent. The “pastel de nata” was amazing. If you are staying in the neighborhood (airbnb or other) definitely go there to have breakfast before going to Manhattan.

Wow!!! Stopped for a quick meal before heading to the airport. Ilma made us delicious sandwiches, a Cuban (homemade roast pork) and cheesesteak. When we saw the size (big!), she was so kind – wrapped half for the trip. We’ll be back!

Not a huge menu, but exactly what was needed for a late breakfast as I waited for the bus to NY that stops just down the block.
The fresh coffee and orange juice were on point.
To eat i had a 3 egg veggie omelet with toast and home fries. I asked for hot sauce and was offered their homemade hot sauce, with a warning that it was very hot. It was quite hot, but in all the best ways. A perfect compliment to my meal.
If I lived or worked nearby, I would be here all the time, but alas I was just visiting.

North Ave is pumping out some great food!! Ilma behind the griddle made us the best cheesesteaks to order, so much flavor and so tender!!! Clearly her heart is in the food she makes, there is a lot of pride in this humble diner. My friend had fresh rice beans & pork that looked like Brazilian grandmas home cookin’! This is a must stop for breakfast or lunch.
