If you’re looking for authentic Southern BBQ served with a side of genuine hospitality, Dreamland BBQ delivers on all fronts. We visited with a large group, and from the moment we walked in, the staff handled everything with impressive coordination and friendliness.
The service was excellent — attentive, efficient, and accommodating to the needs of a big party without missing a beat. Every order came out exactly as requested, which is no small feat with a crowd, and everything arrived hot and timely.
As for the food, it lived up to the name “Dreamland.” The ribs were smoky and tender, the pulled pork was perfectly seasoned, and the sides—especially the baked beans and coleslaw—rounded out the meal with classic comfort. Each bite confirmed that this place knows BBQ inside and out.
Whether you’re stopping by with family, friends, or a larger group, Dreamland BBQ hits the sweet spot between down-home flavor and top-notch service. Highly recommended.

Mandy was our bartender/server and she was really FANTASTIC! We were a group of 5 adults she was very accommodating and thoughtful! She took her time taking our orders and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was patient and very friendly all around which makes our dining experience wonderful! The food was great and our little bun in the oven loved the banana pudding 🙂 Thank you, Mandy!

Arrived at 615pm and stood around for 20 minutes before our party was seated. Took another 30 minutes to get drinks and the server did not know what beers they had. Finally was able to place our food order and waited about an hour before the food came out. I ordered the rib tips that were cold and chewy. The sausage link was over cooked and cold. Beans were good, but the Mac and cheese was rubber and cold. It seemed that they melted a block of generic velveta and let it cool.
Overall, not good for $25. The place was empty when we walked in, and empty when we finally walked out two and a half hours later.

Poor Bishop is rolling in his grave right now. I came across this place while reading a bbq history book in Walgreens a few miles down. Nonetheless, I was stoked to try. I wouldn’t order the mac again, very lack luster. The sandwich could have been better, just very average and gave me a kansas city bbq feel. Fried green tomatoes were alright as well, maybe more sauce. Pieces of wonder bread was a wild intro to the entire experience, but the sauce that comes with is good. I would probably go with the loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, history is where this place belongs. Cutting corners in quality for a few extra bucks hasn’t done well for other restaurants. This is one of those places and you can tell.

Arrived at 6 pm and restaurant was slow. Took quiet a while to order and again to get our food. Really don’t care for the a-la-cart menu. Why cant the dishes have sides included? Food taste was good but in my opinion not what we paid for. This was my first Dreamland trip and probably my last.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. The servers were nice and welcoming. We got everything to go since we had a few hours of driving left, and everything we asked for was in the bag.
Unfortunately, our experience was just like a lot of other reviews. We got the Tips & Chips and the BBQ Baker with rib tips. The bbq was nothing extraordinary, not a lot of smoke flavor, but it was ok. I liked their twangy bbq sauce, but the white sauce on the potato was not so great. More like a weird mayo sauce. The chips were OK but not homemade chips like the restaurantboasts about. More like fried Lays. Overall, it was filling, but I wouldn’t go out of our way again to stop here.

Hole in the wall but really good BBQ tips. I thought Hogwood in Nashville couldn’t be beat. Yeah this place is better and cheaper.
