I tend to gage a restaurant by how full the parking lot is. In this particular case we had to park at the hotel behind the restaurant. There was a 20 minute wait for a table, I took this as another good sign. The server was training a new team member but it did not interfere at all with the service, both were very friendly and attentive. They had an impressive selection of beers on tap. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were very satisfying. The atmosphere was varied, football games on the TVs and music playing, but at the right level that it didn’t make us have to shout to hear each other talk. Even my super picky 13 year old daughter was happy
Overall very impressed with Drakes and we will definitely be back again.

Sidney is a great server and bar tender who does an awesome job of keeping her bar clean and taking care of her customers promptly. Grant and Chris are great servers and bartenders who keep the bar clean. They also do an outstanding job of taking care of customers and are great at communicating with customers and give prompt service and will get any complaints or issues solved quickly and will make the situation right. Nick is a great manager who looks out for his customers and solves any issues promptly and is highly concerned for his customers safety and making sure they get home safely. Plenty of TVs to watch football games on Sunday, basketball and UK sporting events throughout the week.

So many organizations have a social responsibility to give back and support the communities in which they serve and do business in. Meadowthorpe PTA was very fortunate to see Drake’s on Leestown Road fulfill their commitment to giving back to the Meadowthorpe community!
Kaitlyn and Hunter were very instrumental in partnering with the Meadowthorpe PTA. A warm, delicious meal was provided to staff as they continued to devote their time, love and dedication to our precious children at Meadowthorpe Elementary for an after hours event.
From the beginning of our partnership until the day the meals were delivered, there was kindness and attention to detail from Kaitlyn. She delivered the meals to our school with care and clear communication. At a time when businesses can choose not to stay true to their social responsibility, the management team at the Leestown location chose to provide something so essential as a hot meal to teachers and staff who deserve so much because of their vital work they perform on a daily basis.

Lunch break with some coworkers & our server was a nice gentlemen. My mini yum yum sliders were good, the extra sauce on the side wasn’t even enough I needed more. When I go back ima get thay again. Very filling too

We usually get our food to-go, but we occasionally dine in, when time permits. The restaurant size is a bit small, but that doesn’t affect the quality of the food, as everything we’ve ever had from Drake’s has always been great. It’s pretty much a sports atmosphere, so be prepared for lots of buf screen TVs and lots of noise. If that’s the atmosphere you’re searching fir, you’ll love this location of Drake’s. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I love Drakes and especially this (Leestown) location; the food is always great (and we try something new almost every time) , the cocktails are so yummy and the service here is fantastic. Anytime we have friends/family coming to visit Drakes is a must stop and they all fall in love. No matter what you try you won’t choose wrong!

I took a chance and got something different last night, I went with the Sirloin steak and tempura crab sushi roll. Worst steak of my life, I’d be shocked if it was actually from the cow, seemed like it was glued together artificially.
Our server was great, appetizers were awesome, I’ll be back but I can’t recommend not getting the sirloin enough, it was pitiful.
