I was getting stir crazy staying in the house during this snow apocalypse in Louisville. I drove less than a mile from my house and went to Drakes on Hurstbourne. I sat at the bar and had a wonderful time. It was a light crowd, but the people at the bar or friendly and we had great conversation. My server Will. He was fantastic. Very energetic and gave some great suggestions.
I started off with a shrimp tempura appetizer, which was delicious. Then I ordered the patty melt and macaroni and cheese. The patty melt is a favor of mine there and it was delicious. The mac & cheese was not so good so I let Will know. He brought me out another order of it and it was fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and decent prices. I highly recommend this place.

Big Daddy
Our group was in town for a teenage volleyball tournament. Our group of 25 parents and players called to see about having dinner. THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY HAVE US! We arrived around 5:30 as requested, the entire group was there by 6:30. This place was packed but the service was amazing. Our waiter Issac was a legend and deserves accolades for his efforts, he was on his game. Food was also top notch, from the cheeseburgers, fish, buffalo Mac & cheese to the sushi! So good ! Thanks again !!!

I highly recommend this place. Not only can you get burgers and your typically bar food, but you can also get sushi. I went with my mom as we were indecisive in what genre of food we wanted. It was great because we were able to share a burger and a poke bowl.
The burger is huge, FYI.
Join the rewards, even if you aren’t going to go very often. Definitely check this place out on a good weather day, as they have the doors open with some decent indoor/outdoor seating.

Place was full at 5:00 on a Saturday. Seated at a low top near the fireplace. Nice. I never knew they had a fireplace. Food was out quickly. Server (Karisa) was very good!. One hostess needs a little safety/sanitation training… dropped several rolls of silverware on the floor, picked them up and put them back in the bin.

We love eating at Drake’s, we used to go to drakes in Chattanooga when we lived there, this is the first time being at this location. I’m a Burger guy, personally, I love their Cheddar Burgers and Mushroom Swiss Burgers.
I have attached pictures from the menu to know the food they serve with the prices.
P.S we had to wait for about 10 minutes for our table. It’s worth the wait.

We go to Drakes often, either dine in or carry out. The food is always exceptional, service is always great & the atmosphere is good but tye music is so loud that you can’t hear others at the table in conversation so everyone has to yell which makes the place sound chaotic.
