I’m being generous with a 4 star because my corned beef sandwich was decent this time (it’s hit or miss on 75th). My sister ordered online & our friend didn’t receive the extras she ordered like cheese and sauce for fries. The delivery person left the bag on the ground & didn’t alert us (hood service). None of the food looks like the pictures on their website, totally a false visual representation but, its tasty most of the time (especially after wine). I stopped going since I found a better deli after pandemic but its nice to not have to leave your community. The fries are different now (thick cut w/skin on, not the pretty skinny fries you see in the pictures – they used to have those) cheese product and the bread is not the classic rye w/caraway seeds (not authentic like it used to be long ago) very cheap bread that they pass as rye but it you are not picky and can settle for less (while paying more) then you’ll enjoy it. Since I lowered my expectations of community business and customer service, I’ve been less outraged at mediocre to poor service that costs more. Go ahead and give them a try, we had a decent gamble.

They made my sandwich just the way I asked and the way a corn beef sandwich should be made. Big beef, a slice of American and Swiss cheese, extra mustard, on rye, lean, and an extra pickle n pepper pack. I only gave 4 stars, cause I’ve had an order pick up for delivery to me. I had to drive back there to advise this is nothing like I asked. Thank you for being part of a bright community of Chicago.

My colleague and I ordered through Uber Eats. Overall it was a good sandwich, we were a bit put off that the small bag of chips are no longer included with the order. This is the only reason for the 4, instead of 5 star rating.

I called at 7:35pm to order a sandwich.They close at 8pm. I figured that would give them enough time to fix it without holding them up. I was told they close at 7:45 to clean up and no phone orders. I told them it says they close at 8pm online and since they wouldn’t take a phone order could I just come in. The man already had an attitude and rudely said “look man you got five minites.” I told him that’s okay and ended the call. I hadn’t been there for a while and figured I would buy with someone in my community. THEY CAN KEEP THAT SANDWICH FROM NOW ON!!! I would rather make a sandwich at home that may be as good than to give them a dime of my money.

came here on a Saturday afternoon after seeing so many TikTok’s about this place. I got the corned beef sandwich with mild sauce fries and a drink which was around $20. That is a little steep for that, but they loaded the sandwich with meat so it was all good. The sandwich was a 9/10, I prefer a bit more mustard on mine but the fries were so so good. I love their mild sauce! I definitely recommend for a corned beef sandwich. Service was also good and swift.

Went to the one on 111th and Michigan. Horrible. Sandwich maker didn’t change his gloves, sandwich cost 20$ and was small as heck!! My opinion go buy your own corn beef and cook it or go buy a lbs of vianna cornbeef from jewels; you’ll get adleast 3 sandwiches for the same price as one. 9 thumbs

I’m a customer here very often and my firm places orders with you often. Today I decided to place an order through Uber Eats and to my surprise my food came and my order was not what I ask for. I ordered a big beef on rye with fries. I received everything separate and no fries. On occasions I have come into the store and the young lady that takes the orders is always pleasant. Today a young lady by the name of Adrianna left me very unsatisfied. After I explained to her that I don’t use the internet normally to order food she was very nasty. Then she claimed she refunded me the money for my fries and gave me chips instead. which I told her I didn’t really mind. After correcting my food she throws the bag in the window and I said did you put the chips in the bag and she says you said you did not care about the chips. She then stuffs them through the hole at the serving window. I drive all the way from my job at Leak Funeral Home, after placing an online order, paying additional money for it to be delivered, wasting my gas, only to arrive to the restaurant in person and receive horrible customer service from what I assume is a manager. Very unprofessional, very disrespectful, very ignorant!! You all definitely need to make some adjustments….
