The breakfast buffet is your typical eggs and bacon breakfast. There are some other things like carnitas and tortillas. They had some other Mexican options. Again food quality was ok
The way things are organized is that it makes for long lines and people pushing around to get things. Like the line covers the drink machine. Etc. inconvenient and because it’s breakfast people are in a hurry. Many times people cut in front of me. The experience was negative.

Awesome castle atmosphere!! The food was much better than expected. Drinks were ok, feel as though the waitress wasn’t too knowledgeable regarding the cocktails and some differences when it has the same ingredients but different name, overall she was attentive and we received our food promptly! The Dragon Burger was phenomenal that jalapeno bacon jam is a game changer (fries were ok nothing special) and the salmon was fantastic, great skin and buttery insides!

Menu is slightly over priced, but to be expected as dinning the LegoLand Castle Resort. Friendly service, extremely kid friendly, kid entertainment, fun decor, and food was actually pretty tasty. We had NY Steak (mashed potatoes are amazing), The Dragon Burger, kids steak, & kids Mac n cheese.

We stayed at the Castle Hotel Feb 6-9 for my grandsons 4th birthday. We had ate breakfast there the 7th and 8th and it was pretty good.
I made a reservation for the 13 of us for dinner on Sunday the 8th at 6:45 for my grandsons actual birthday.
When we got there, we had to wait for them to get our table ready. They sat us and after 15 minutes I had to go to the desk and ask for our waitress. According to our waitress Kimberly, they forgot to tell her but she said not to worry, that service would be excellent from now on. She was way wrong about that!
I let her know right away that it was Micah’s 4th birthday.
She took our order and after a bit the food started coming in. We had to remind her that she forgot my moms lemonade. Everyone got their food except for my son and husband. 2 cheeseburgers. One of our party went and found Kimberly to let her know about the 2 missing dinners. She came back and said to be honest, the kitchen was running behind on the burger side. A few minutes later a server delivers a burger to a table on the left side of us. Few minutes later, 2 more cheeseburgers are served at another table. Everyone at our table is about done eating when Kimberly comes back without the cheeseburgers. We tell her that other people are getting theres. We tell her to just make them to go. She offers a free piece of cake.
In the meantime we hear staff clapping and celebrating at least 8 other birthdays. We end up singing happy birthday by ourselves to my grandson.
My son goes to the front and asks for a manager. 10 minutes later here comes the manager and Kimberly comes with a bag with the 2 meals. We tell them to take the burgers off the bill and keep them. We explain everything that happened and he was like a little mouse with barely an apology. He acted very unconcerned and so quiet you could barely hear him. Sadly, the tip was added into the bill.
Horrible experience. Forgetting the burgers, fine. Forgetting to give attention to the birthday boy like all of the kids with birthdays got, completely unacceptable.

We had breakfast here when staying in the hotel; the food was ok, but the rest of the experience is horrible.
Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait in line for 35 minutes.
DO NOT USE the coin souvenir machine! It’s strategically positioned towards the end of the line, it charged us but we never got our coin. I also noticed a “cash advance” charge on my statement, so I guess it was an ATM in the backend. No phone number to call, probably counts as fraud legally.

We stayed at the Legoland Castle so wanted to try dinner dine-in at this restaurant. You’ll need to do reservations. Even with a 5:30pm reservation, check-in was not quick nor seamless as I thought it would be. The food came out quick but overall they were only okay (kids salmon with rice, meat lovers flatbread, pepperoni pizza, chicken salad). The portions were reasonable. For 4 entrees, we paid almost $100. Regardless of their service, they automatically charged 18% tip in the bill without telling the customers. That’s what we didn’t like about the restaurant. However, their morning breakfast buffet style is something we really enjoyed.

We went here for dinner one night and the free breakfast in the morning. Both times we found the food to be excellent. As with the hotel, the staff is the only negative. It seems like there are a few servers with proper experience and therefore are good. The majority seem like they have never worked in a restaurant before. At dinner our server didn’t even seem to know where he was. We had to ask for drink refills every time we needed them and we also had to point out that our meal came with a choice to ensure we got what we wanted. The person who brought our food had no idea what she was serving us. The experience at breakfast was better, but since it was limited to drink and omelet orders with everything else being a buffet, it was no surprise. Hopefully in the coming weeks things will improve.

My family and I dined at Dragons Den a few times during our stay at Legoland this past weekend. Two times were for their breakfast, which is included for free in the hotel package and once for dinner.
Dragons Den is located INSIDE of the Legoland Castle Hotel. You don’t need to be a hotel guest to dine there though. Make sure that you make a reservation online via OpenTable prior to arriving! They are only taking reservations, no walk ins at the moment. You get a 5 minute grace period but they also state that they will hold your table for 30 minutes (according to the email I received) in case you’re running late.
There is inside seating as well as outdoor. All of my visits were inside but I think next time we may try outdoor if the weather permits it. There was a small line each time we visited but it went by pretty fast. The only time we had a short wait after checking in with the hostess was our last day Sunday for breakfast. The restaurant has a pretty neat waiting area decorated with Lego designs everywhere. There are also Legos for kids to play with as well as a cool spinning wheel! They have neat Lego art located within the entire restaurant also, pretty cool to take pictures of with the family!
I will say that I much preferred their breakfast compared to the dinner experience we had. Breakfast is served buffet style so there’s no rush. You can take as many trips as you want to try their selections of food. My favorite were the pancakes, Biscuits & gravy and their blueberry muffins. My son loved the cereal packs (they offered cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I think Frosted Flakes?) and he also enjoyed their Belgian waffles! They had a lot to choose from though, each day they had a different “ethnic food” area. Saturday was “taste of Mexico” and Sunday they had “Asian entrees” which was orange chicken – a pretty random breakfast option but at least they tried? All of the breakfast food was nice and fresh. Nothing spectacular or out of this world but my family and I enjoyed it!
Now for the dinner experience – honestly I wouldn’t recommend to come here if you’re paying for the meal out of pocket. Our server, Antonio, was nice and came around every now and then to check on us but I wouldn’t say the service is anywhere near 5 star (not that I expected it anyways). The wait time is what really killed the experience for me. My sons food came out much quicker than my bf and I. Even though my son ordered the pepperoni kids pizza and I got the regular pepperoni pizza for myself. We must have been sitting there minimum 45 minutes as our son ate before our food ended up coming out. And honestly my pizza was the exact same as my sons so I’m not sure why the time frame was so far between. It wasn’t nearly worth the money we spent. My pizza got cold very fast and tasted like something that would be served at a buffet. My bf did enjoy his burger though! So that was a plus.
At the end of the day I’d definitely recommend Dragons Den for their breakfast but not dinner. If you do dine at their restaurant for dinner be prepared for a long wait if you order from the main menu while kids are served an hour in advance! 4 stars though because I really did enjoy their breakfast and the convenience of the restaurant being located within our hotel!

The burger with the jalapeño sauce is delicious but ask for no garlic sauce (grosssssss).
The cost ratio to amount of food you get is expensive. Especially when there’s no where to eat unless you physically leave the park area.
One night they told us we had to buy the $11 slice of cake to get a happy bday sung. While the next day we ordered an $3 ice cream an got it.
They do not have enough wait staff for how busy this place is.

Burger patties over cooked, pre-formed, thin and basic. Kids meal burger looked like it was sitting around for a day before they served it. it was hard and the bread was hard too. Sent it back. I got a small cup of beer. It was $14. More than 1 screaming crying child in there made it hard to enjoy the bland and low quality hotel-food meal. It’s really not a place to go if you want good food or fair prices. The Lego stuff inside was novel but we can see that anywhere in the park. You can get a better burger at the Carl’s Jr. 2 minutes down the road and not get stuck with a $150 bill with no dessert. No frills. No thrills. Never again. They must only survive because people don’t read these reviews who stay at this hotel. Hotel itself seems nice. Avoid the Dragon’s Den.
