The calamari is terrible.
Excess batter. Dry on the inside. The mouth feel is just completely off with this dish. It also claims to be spicy but is barely so.
I ate two pieces and my body rejected the third. Save your money on this dish. The chef needs to rethink this one because that batter just isn’t it. Just gross.
I also ordered a Pork Egg Foo Young combo with Pork Fried Rice. This was palatable. Certainly not the best asian i’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad.
To round back, that calamari deserves a light and flaky batter, you can keep the seasonings, but make it spicier, and it would have been a hit. Instead it was a bloated dry mess of a miss. So disappointed.

Spent over $140 on take out and the food sucked. Sweet and Sour Sauce tasted like vinegar, Chicken Fried Rice was burnt and floating in oil, Pork Egg Foo Young was a disgrace. Only the Crab Ragoons were good. Have been disappointed the last 3 visits. Will never return or recommend…

Currently still in the restaurant as I type this. It was phenomenal! As soon as me and my mother walked in, it was a surprise with the modern look, but I enjoy it! It’s not an obvious Asian restaurant and I enjoy that. We sat down and instantly got a friendly waiter, Sam. She let us look at the menu before serving us and oh boy, the menu is so simple and easy to navigate! I was able to order Crab Rangoon AND sushi, so I call that a win. Sam accidentally threw chopsticks, but that’s okay, it was very funny to me and I understand the mistake :). Once we got our items, everything was fresh, and hot and the taste was perfect. They also have homemade duck sauce, which I was SHOCKED by how good it was. I gobbled my sushi up instantly (habit from my dad) and my mom enjoyed her meal (she’s still eating). She mentioned how good the brown rice was and I’m not going to lie, it LOOKS good and I’m not even a rice fan! The check might be a lil on the expensive side, but not as bad as most restaurants with fresh food. I love it, and hope we come back again. Thanks for the chopstick attack Sam, I’ll be looking for that next time!

UPDATE: We have gone 4 more times since the original post and all 4 times have been consistent and delicious. The only thing that changes everytime I order is what the person who is taking the order considers what the House Sticky Wing Sauce is. I try to order that on the side for dipping. Most times I get something else that I don’t know what it is. But otherwise we still love it
Honestly. We loved it! The chicken fingers were good, fried rice was on point and the General Tso Chicken was so good, my kids even loved it. The waitress was attentive and personable, even teaching me a few words in Chinese. The experience was great

Portion size for the price they charge for take out is atrocious. 18 dollars for one order of very little food. Just 1 dinner special. And they make you pay extra for plain or pork fried rice. Also its a dinner special, why is an egg roll not included, your really make your costumers pay extra for an egg roll on a combo special?. You get this very bland dry rice with dry chicken and barely any veggies. Im sorry, they do give you a lot of 1 vegetable. Onions are always good, right?Portion size vs price is way better at other places in the area. Black rice and black duck sauce was a first for me. Long story short, place is really just not worth the money and in my opinion if your a person that likes this place, well, I’m just sorry you’ve never experienced anything better. Go to China gourmet instead, willet ave, or mei sing across the street from cumbys at on Pawtucket Ave where the intersection. For the wampanoag is.

I arrived here and waited to be greeted/served I explained nobody came to my table and that I’m pregnant and needed to eat and drink. Someone came and took my order but the food came back under cooked ! When I got home I threw up and I eat pregnant perfectly fine. It was purposely done to me. Do NOT COME HERE
