This place has amazing veggie rolls! They are not like your typical vegetarian rolls. It makes my little heart happy and fills me up. I highly suggest the coco caliente if you want a yummy vegan roll. I also loved the Bibimbap, I added tofu to mine! The garlic butter edamame was delicious. The veggie goza was crispy and yummy. I also enjoyed the Black widow roll. I will be going back. The parking sucks, but location is the reason why. I love the Highlands regardless and Im happy with the location! It beats driving over the river. I’ll be back!

Dragon’s King’s daughter is a wonderful restaurant with an excellent atmosphere and the best salad I have ever eaten. I had the ginger salad and it was delicious. Lots of fresh vegetables as well as fresh ground ginger and fresh grated carrots. In the sauce there were lots of edamame avocado slices and fresh diced tomatoes as well as a ton of field grains. My daughter and I loved it. The sushi rolls were delicious, as was the wasabi and sauces. I could not have asked for more including a thoughtful and kind server to help. Thank you for serving me.

I had lunch at Dragon King’s Daughter after hearing great things from my colleagues, so my expectations were high—and overall, it was a really good experience! The lemongrass miso soup was incredible—so flavorful and comforting. The sweet and spicy wings were just okay for me, but I’ll admit I’m a pretty picky eater, so there wasn’t much else on the menu I was ready to try this time. Still, I’d definitely come back to explore more! The service was excellent, and Jameson was an absolute peach—fun, attentive, and kept us on our toes!

Service here was pretty quick, despite it being fairly busy. Our server was kind and asked helpful questions. Our hot food came out pretty quick, but had to wait sometime for our sushi rolls. Main complaint with the food was they had a tamarind – tomato sauce, but it tasted like marinara sauce with no notes of Tamarind. The bathroom were nice, but had a slight smell. Overall, the sushi rolls and yuzu drink were amazing, and the prices were not half bad.

ATMOSPHERE:
The place was VERY dirty. They had a sign stating that their AC was not working….. Take a look at the pics of their vents. Below are pics of TWO DIFFERENT vents. They probably don’t bother cleaning their coils either and therefore have AC problems (see pics).
Dirty plates served. Their tables and floors are absolutely disgusting and it appears it has not been cleaned in years (see pics).
FOOD QUALITY
When I say horrible- it’s horrible. Everything tasted pre made and gross right down to the Sushi. We also ordered a seafood curry that unbelievably was burnt AND cold. It had to be sent back. So they burnt it in the morning during prep, packaged it up and served BURNT curry later (barely warmed from the fridge to their guest.
Sushi is made with rice that is NOT fresh. You can taste that it has been sitting out a long time. It had ZERO flavor and also did not hold together well when picked up. They either premade this sushi or used oxidized avocado (not necessarily harmful but GROSS!) This is not worth going to for Sushi (see pics).
SERVICE:
While our server was super friendly (reason for 2nd star) and a young adult that attempted to make things right- she can’t possibly do this without appropriate training. They just lack any level of professionalism whatsoever and that is the fault of management not the young servers. If you’re going to employ them in your restaurant then train them how to serve people.
This place needs new management and a health department visit.

The food was presented nicely, but definitely nothing to write home about. I think this restaurant would be nice for a casual happy hour. But I don’t think we’ll be dining here for dinner again. The servers were wonderful.

This place is great as Happy Hour is everyday! Deals starting with Sake and wine to many different sushi rolls! The sushi selection is great and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed as well. The Dragon Kings Daughter roll was very delicious! The Chicken Katsu was great but I would prefer Sweet Chili sauce vs a marinara sauce. The steamed buns were so yummy as the pork was extremely tender and flavorful. I’ll be back to try their bibimbap next!
