Parking is hard to find around this area. Overall I’d recommend this place for sure.
There weren’t many diners when we were there so food came out relatively quick.
The food was overall alright. It’s more of the location and atmosphere you’re paying for eating here vs the quality of Taiwanese food. It’s not bad, but it’s not something amazing either.
The price is a bit high, but the environment is very good with nice view , the food portions are not small, and the service is also great !
Parking underground , $2 per hour very reasonable.
I really love how this place is open so late considering nearly every place in Jack London closes early, especially on Sundays. Service was good. Will def be coming back here again!
Someone came to take our order and we waited for drinks well after the food arrived, and had to ask 3 times where the drinks were
Food was very bland, I asked for chili oil 3 times to 3 different people before I got the chili oil.
When the food arrived the allergen instructions were not followed, the first person brought us the wrong dish entirely and then asked us why it had shrimp.
Second person didn’t clarify which dish was which.
Now I’m sat here trying to flag someone down for the bill and even that’s a struggle. When I did eventually get the bill they charged $30 gratuity because a few of our friends joined the table and didn’t order or eat or drink anything and left within 10 minutes… they would have stayed and it would have been valid if the service wasn’t so terrible.
I’ve never left an establishment and not tipped! They could see it in my face I was mad and the server had the audacity to catch a little attitude.
I pray establishments like this never find me!
Only good thing is the playlist.
C33 Green Beans with Lamb – Yum!
K2 Garlic Noodles – Yum!
P15 Crispy Quail Eggs – Meh. Needs salt.
Drinks – Filled to the brim–excellent! Open bar.
Interior design – Amazing, immersive, cozy, love!
Noise level – Very loud TV, but you can still have a conversation.
Service – Quick, maybe a little too solicitous at times.
Horrid experience all around
I went with a friend and we ordered mixed stir fry veggies and seven different meat skewers to share.
firstly the food was egregiously overpriced. every single skewer was almost completely inedible, the lamb chicken and beef was all fatty grissle, impossible to chew and disguised with sweet sauce. the meat seemed under cooked and was clearly bottom of the barrel quality.
the wait time just to have our orders taken was more than 30 minutes and there were only a few people other people at the bar.
we ordered two drinks, ..$18 .. absolutely nothing noteworthy.
when we were finished eating, there was nobody around to give us the check and we had to go up to the front to pay.
to top it all off!! I got horrible food poisoning and threw up all night.
(for anyone wondering, that was the only food I had eaten that day so yes I know it was from this restaurant)
