We ordered takeout sushi and my family has for years before this. I cannot speak to the other food, but the sushi rolls and fried rice were excellent. The double dragon roll was phenomenal and had a beautiful presentation all the way after picking it up and bringing it back. It was very tasty and ready promptly.

Unfortunately my meal was just not good. I ordered General tso chicken. Breading was quite mushy. I honestly could have overlooked that but the sauce literally tasted like the sweet and sour sauce with a little added spice. Outside of that the staff was very nice, greeted me when I came in the door and was fast to give me my order.

I’ve always been a fan of Dragon Chef, I’ve been eating there for a looooong time and truly they are at their best. The remodel, the atmosphere, everything is great. Their food is delicious and portion size on their lo mein is unreal…we will always be dragon chef fans for life!! Very good food, My wife ordered off the lunch menu and brought it home after her work shift. Food was still tasty and delicious. The lunch combo gets you an entree and spring roll. You can choose a roll or soup, but you must dine in for the soup. You can upgrade to fried rice instead of steamed white rice. The food is tastier than most Chinese places that I have tried .

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. There is absolutely no customer service skills in place. The food I ordered so my partner could have something to eat when he got home from work was dry and so full of onion and peppers that it couldn’t be eaten. The so called manager was so rude and disrespectful that I cannot believe this place is in business.
Rebuttal to owner response… It was dry when I got the order. This is the second time in two weeks I have had a complaint about their food. Our order just last week had absolutely no taste and was dry as well. No utensils or condiments were given even though it was requested, even requested extra soy sauce. I normally do not make bad reviews to any place but the utter disrespect towards me was uncalled for. Our business will be taken elsewhere not because you told us to but after two complaints in two weeks and absolutely no improvement in quality or customer service, we will not be going back. A word advice customer service skills are the key to a successful business. Good luck

Did an online order. Got home and several items were missing. Called the restaurant and explained what we didn’t have. Was told we would get a call back, which did happen. However, they were completely indifferent, and clearly stated there would be no adjustment to the charge. Needless to say, I will never order from here again. In addition, the food was mediocre at best. Perhaps I overlooked the fact that a fee would be added for ordering online….at any rate, never again.

I consider this place a hidden gem of Culpeper, it’s hard to find quality sushi there and Dragon Chef never disappoints me!! They do not do dine-in at the moment, but their food is excellent for takeout. They also have a great selection of both Chinese and Japanese dishes alike to choose from, I’ve never had anything that wasn’t good either. Perfect for a night in!
