Wanted some wings and a beer on a Saturday night and after some research I found this place to have good reviews on wings. Stopped by and it definitely lived up to its expectations. Fried pickle spears and wings were both 10/10, will definitely be back!

I have to say, this is one of the best spots in town. Service, food, drinks and atmosphere are top notch. I really have to compliment them on how organized that can be during peak/busy times. Take Super Bowl Sunday for example, they do pre orders for your game day wings and advertise well in advance that they are doing so. I’m so glad they advertised the fact that to go wings were available to pre order as they are some of the best wings in town and that ensures folks get their fresh, delicious mouth watering wings!! It’s my understanding their kitchen is a little small and for them to be able pump out the wings they do for both carryout and a packed house for the game really says something about the service they provide. The staff at Dr McKays is so extremely warm and welcoming you feel like you’ve known them for years anytime you walk in there. I really can’t say enough about this establishment. Extremely well run business that excels at service, food and hospitality!! I highly, highly recommend for any occasion, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks for the years of excellence Dr McKays!

We had lunch here. Kaitlyn was our server and she was very personable and didn’t rush us. My husband had the boneless wings with peanut butter sauce and strawberry jalapeño jelly. They were really good. I had a blt which was okay. The onion rings are amazing! Lightly breaded,crunchy,and tender. The price was reasonable for the amount of food. We will return.

Tried calling in a phone order- phone disconnected for Super Bowl. Drove all the way there to place my order in person and was refused service because I wanted my order in a to go box instead of on a plate. Will never return. Terrible customer service.
Edit: The passive aggressive reply stating that we were “given a time of 6:30 that did not work for our schedule” is just not factual and never happened. If it did, we would’ve waited as we understand it’s a busy day. I also never asked for wings, I never got a chance to ask for anything. I was also never irritated until I got home and realized how silly it was that I could order in person as long as I sat down to eat it. Thank you.

We got off work early, checked online for a place serving food after 9:00 pm and DR. McKay’s was listed. We chose our seats and the waitress came over promptly with menus and took our drink order and left before we could say we knew what we wanted to eat. We waited patiently for her to return and noticed she was busy watching videos on her phone and chatting with a guy sitting at the end of the bar. My husband said we will give her another minute and we are leaving . She must have remembered she was a waitress and had patrons because one of them came up to the bar to get a refill, so she got up and we thought she was coming over to us but instead she went and printed receipts for other patrons that she had forgotten about. When she was done she did make her way over to us and we placed our order and hoped that was the end of the terrible service. We noticed that her and the guy both got up from the end of the bar and went outside. Fortunately for the patrons at the table next to us, the bar tender came over to check to see if anyone needed anything. When the waitress came back in from outside, she immediately went to her seat and checked her phone. To say the service was absolutely horrific is definitely true. The food was delicious. Her attention to customer service was reflected in the $2 tip she received. If you’re the owner or manager of this establishment I would think again about keeping Jamie T on staff!!!! I’ve included our receipt.

These pictures do not do justice to how FANTASTIC the food is here! I constant crave the peanut butter bacon wings with the jalapeno jelly dipping sauce… It sounds crazy but trust me, it’s amazing. The cheese balls are great. There aren’t too many places in town you can get monte cristos so I was excited to see it on the menu!!

First time here. Wife had shepherds pie and found it very tasty. Large serving, so leftovers came home with us. I had fish and chips (waffle fries). That meal was also excellent. Unlike my wife’s order, I would have liked more fish!

It’s a spot that is well known for its wide variety of wings and they have many unique styles along with traditional favorites. The wings are really good. Try the peanut butter and bacon style with jelly on the side.
The fish in the fish and chips was a bit overcooked. Same with the burger patty in the horseshoe. They were super busy on a Saturday night when we went, so it’s not a huge surprise.

Stopped by Dr. McKay’s to have a few beers and get something to eat, the wings were BOMB A/F way better than your bigger restaurant food chain. I had the regular order of traditional wings (naked) with maple mustard and Thai chili on the side and of course a nice cold beer, will definitely be back. Thanks,
