I ordered a 6 piece chicken meal deal and was told it came with an ice cream. I asked the cashier if this was true, as I had ordered the same thing many times before and never received an ice cream with it. The cashier said yes, that’s how it is, so I chose which ice cream I wanted. Then once the order was finished I walked to a booth to wait for my food. Then not long after I sat down amongst the other customers who were dining at this Dairy Queen, a woman missing teeth and saying she’s the manager came over and said I need to pay for the ice cream. I then explained that I had ordered the 6 piece chicken that didn’t come with an ice cream, but was told and reassured by the cashier that it came with ice cream, but to no avail as the woman said yet again that “they are the manager” and that they heard me ordering ice cream and that I must pay. After I said I’ll pay for it she walked away. Once I got to the counter and paid the measly amount, the cashier from earlier apologized and said it was her fault. Overall unbelievable experience. To get an order wrong, to visibly go up to a customer who has already sat down at their booth amongst other customers and demand payment, then claim they are the one in the wrong. This evidently deaf manager should be replaced or seriously consider changing their attitude before showing their face at this DQ again. Until that happens, I won’t be going to this DQ.

After sitting down for a nice Sunday lunch with the family we were disappointed with the integrity of the “management”. When ordering a meal we were certain that what we had ordered would not include an ice-cream addon, however after being reassured by the cashier we proceeded with our order and received some ice cream. We all assumed at that moment that maybe we were wrong and what we ordered did in fact come with ice cream. The meal was paid for and then we took a seat with our family. While enjoying our time with our family while waiting for our food the “manager”? came over to confront us about the ice cream claiming that we needed to now pay for it. The cashier claimed that it was her fault but this manager insisted that we intentionally ordered the ice cream and that we needed to then rectify the mistake (that they made) by paying the difference. This is unprofessional and outright rude of this manager to put it on the customer to rectify the mistake that their employee made. We unfortunately left what was intended to be a nice family lunch feeling like we should have just gone some place else to eat instead.

I went in today and ordered 2 adult meals and a juicy burger with fries. Everything was delicious except the fries. The fries were burnt and a little crispy like they had been sitting in the fryer for 5 seconds over. They remembered to give me our ice cream and when they gave it to me the lady was very kind and acted like it was her fault. I’ll always waste money there again.

First I must admit that I can be very picky when ordering and I’ve been here obviously a lot. But today this young lady took my order and nailed it. I told her to add an extra $5 dollar to my order so she could take a $5 for a tip but she said they told her no. So I took my order and parked and went to the Kwik stop ATM and gave her a larger tip. She told me her name but I forgot but she had some type of scars on her neck. She was so polite and greeted me with a smile. So nice to see people so courteous. Great job.

The sign on the entrance doors say 10 pm. Your app and website say 8pm. You are not my favorite DQ anymore because all I had seen were the hours on the door. And when I went on a Friday night at 9 pm and you were closed I am done with you. We buy at least 6 cakes a year and they will come from one of the other two locations. Fix the door sign

We stopped inside the DQ tonight. After ordering $60 worth of food we got in line behind a family with 3 children to order ice cream. They ordered 3 Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzards. Of course our 6 year old grandson wanted one. Unfortunately we were unable to purchase an Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard bc we weren’t ordering it through the DQ app. I understand you might run specials but it’s crazy when you are standing right there in person and you can’t order one. We will find somewhere else to spend our money and not have a disappointed 6 year old. And yes we did speak to the manager bc we had a crying child and her response was we can’t ring it up if you don’t order it on the app. Pretty sure she could have rang it up under a different flavor that was the same cost.

I went in yesterday and ordered 2 kids meals and a crispy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Everything was gross except the cheese curds. The fries and chicken sandwich were soggy like they had been sitting forever. They forgot to give me our ice cream and when I ran in to ask for it the lady was very rude and acted like it was my fault. I’ll never waste money there again.

Very friendly and fast service. Took the family there for Friday night ice cream, and the staff was helpful with coupons we had. One of our favorite ice cream spots in Dubuque, way better than the other 3 Dairy Queens in town
