My wife and finally decided to give this place a try. We see it packed all the time. So the food must be good right? Well I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with potato salad. Thinking the potato salad was fresh made in the kitchen. The sign does say “home style cooking” well it was not home made. The potato salad was regular bucket store bought from the grocery store. I was disappointed. How ever the burger I got I have no complaints. It was really good as expected. Is this place worth the hype…. Ehhhh. Maybe I will give it a second try.

Today was my first day back to D Place in 9 months. The last time I was there the service was very bad. Today the staff took my order at 10:00 a.m. . At 10:30, I was waiting for my food to be brought to me, then I overheard the waiter and cook arguing about why my food was not being cooked. I spoke to the manager and told her I would not be coming back. She offered me a coupon for free meal. What good is a free meal if you’re not going to cook it?
There was only three tables with customers when I was there today so there is no excuse for losing my order.

Steve, Dominy, Tina, and Katie, super duper off the bench team playerrrs , team work makes the dream work, and atmosphere is beyond measure, dam good spot to get yo breakfast fix, food is fire, hospitality is outstanding, don’t skip this place when your around town, best route 66 road trip stop. Props people!

Our server was not the problem she did great. The unfortunate problem was the food and drinks. Water was bad the orange juice tasted bad. We got omelettes and the eggs weren’t cooked all the way runny inside and just tasted bad.

Were can I start. First time eating at D’Place Cafe, it was amazing. Really great customer service. Greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Servers came to check frequently to see if we needed something. We ordered pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs and more. Breakfast was really delicious. We will definitely be going back and recommend this place to everyone we know.

I went today for the first time in over 5 years. Went around 10:15am on a Monday. The hostess was Soo nice, sat us quickly even got our drinks. Our server was very fun and attentive. I had eggs and sausage plate with biscuits and gravy. The sausage was amazing. Not that tiny ones like other breakfast places. The biscuits were dence. The gravy could of been a little more thick for my liking but it was flavorful. My eggs were cooked perfect over medium. two other got the 2×4 with French toast, bacon and Sunnyside eggs. They were perfect and french toast was awesome. One other person got an order of biscuits and gravy with half potatoes..it was a higher portions she couldn’t finish. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It’s a local hidden gem. I can’t believe I haven’t been in so long.
