Loved this place! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and we started out with a Sand Bar cocktail. It was a fun and delicious mix of vodka, Truly, gummy fish and other stuff served in a fishbowl. We split a delicious ahi tuna appetizer (some piece on tortilla chips and some on cucumber slices which I loved). We also shared a Cobb salad, one of the best I’ve ever had!! it was a delicious combination of mixed greens, grilled chicken, bacon, cranberries, multicolored, grape tomatoes, and feta cheese. I thought it was a generous portion and a great value for the price. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun despite it being a Monday night. We are only in the area for a week, but will definitely go back once or twice more, we loved it so much. We are looking forward to kayaking in the next time with the dog and sitting outside on their deck overlooking the water.

I’ve come to Dox 3 times since opened. The staff is REALLY nice. The drinks are OK, not bad but not anything to rave about IMO. The food needs improvement especially at their price points. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich is chicken tenders on bread – not ideal. The corn dip is good, as well as coconut shrimp and bruschetta. I would avoid the nachos…. I’ve gotten both the Cheeseburger and pulled pork nachos ($20) and they lack any meat or toppings and you get a plate of chips. We mentioned this to our server on both occasions and management did not seem to be informed.

Went there this evening, quite busy and the music was loud. I love live music but this guy was pretty loud. We had some nachos, pulled pork, split between us, pretty yummy . The drinks were kinda sugary. The on tap beer selection was good! April was a very attentive bar tender, nice work! It’s a bar, not really a family centered spot.

Great service, great food, and amazing atmosphere. We tried the weenie dogs, the tuna , pot roast, the street corn and so much more, it was so delicious. The drinks were well balanced and the food was moved very timely. Christina our waitress was so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back !

Went several times during the soft opening. Had several different waitstaff and all were very attentive. Tried a variety of appetizers and dinners. Quality of ingredients and flavors were very good. Food came out hot… a big plus!! Also enjoyed a few of their drink creations. A GREAT addition to our lake. Cool vibe and I applaud the effort and expense put into creating a cool indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Looking forward to watching them grow.

I am so excited to have this place here. We had 10 of us go there last Sunday evening. The service was great, we loved the vibe, the music was phenomenal, and we look forward to coming back. The food, while I appreciate it still a new place, needs a little bit more thought. The fries are definitely frozen, A hour into service they were out of a few things right off the bat, but with time they’ll get that right. The fried chicken sandwich really was just two chicken fingers on a bun. We will be going back and we look forward to growth with their food. Welcome to Lake Winnisquam!

Sent for the first time Friday Aug 11. I had coconut shrimp and cheese scalloped cauliflower. Was delicious! Daniel was our waiter and he was amazing! Very attentive, helpful. Asked if this first visit and what we thought of the food and service. Definitely will come back and ask to be seated in his area! Atmosphere was a bit loud with live music and everyone talking and enjoying them selves. Acoustics could be better.

Significantly overpriced and service was terrible. Although we were seated right away, it took 15 minutes before waitstaff even came over to recognize us (just before we were about to leave). The menu prices are comparable or slightly more than a high end restaurant. This is nowhere close to a high end restaurant. Maybe we’ll be back for a drink because of the convenience of going by boat but certainly won’t be buying food again. Update: Owners reply was ridiculous. We waited for 15 minutes at a table before anyone recognized us. Calling your customers liars is a shore way to to lose even more patrons!!!!!!!

The food was very good. Bar service good, table service was lacking. We came on a rainy Friday night, outdoor seating closed limiting capacity. We expected a long wait for a table and food no problem. Surprisingly got seats at the bar. Bar tender very attentive. Waited a long time at our table to be greeted, long time for a drink order and drinks to be delivered. Food took a long time as expected. Not hard to check in every now and again for a bar drink refill while we wait. Drinks were empty more than filled. Had to flag down our server to ask for a refill. Had to remind him we ordered more drinks. Bill came very quickly.
