The wife and I were shopping. We got hungry so we stopped here for lunch. The place was clean. The restaurant staff were nice and friendly. The food was good but the burger needed more flavor. Other than that everything was good. We recommend it.

I had the Shrimp & Grits and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had (see pic). Probably 10 large shrimp in the bowl along with sausage slices, mushrooms, and pepper slices. Not spicy but wonderfully seasoned gravy. Cooter’s has a very modern bar look and is very clean. Waitress was great and checked on us often. 4 slot machines in the back if you like that kind of thing.

I’ve eaten here about 5 times and I like the shrimp and grits the most. Service is a little slow which my explain why food is not hot enough for me. But server was nice. The restaurant has a good downtown feel and full bar. I will return and recommend you give them a try.

Stopped by today after doing some shopping downtown and found my favorite bar! The bartenders were great and super friendly! I believe Ed was my bartender. Great service, great food, and drinks. Told my friends we have a new place to watch college football. Can’t complain when somewhere has GA Tech football on tv. Will absolutely be back again.

Great place for good bar type comfort food. Clean and well lit – maybe a bit lacking in atmosphere, but many TVs showing a variety of sporting events. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and hot. Drinks were great and well priced. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich which was great and my wife had the Chicken and Waffles which she said was one of the best she had had. Highly recommend

Love coming here the food is delicious and they have a good variety and options. Drinks are made well and are not watered down. They also have happy hour Monday through Friday at three. We love to go for their game day specials, (chicken wings are really good!)

5 Stars – Downtown Cooter Brown is a HUGE hit! What a fantastic opening weekend. The live band was awesome, the staff were incredibly nice, and the food was YUMMY! Our steak quesadilla tasted exactly like a philly cheese steak – absolutely incredible! And the Watermelon Wave cocktail? Delicious! We’ll definitely be back. Congrats on a stellar opening!

Way overpriced for what it is. The server was pleasant, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the veggie bowl and was appalled when it came out—absurd to be charging $16 for this meal. Half of chicken strip was the gross tendon part. Overall, not worth the price. I will not be returning.

Walked in was immediately greeted by the bartender. Place was clean and well kept. I asked the waitress “Jessica” what she recommended she told me the sweet heat burger. Burger was cooked to Perfect perfection. Definitely a great choice. Will definitely be coming back in the future to try more of the menu.

We’re locals who decided to try this spot recently and it’s our new favorite spot! The food is fantastic, especially the buffalo chicken tots! They always have sports on and the staff is friendly. Love Karaoke late nights after First Friday! Overall a great spot in Brunswick for a good atmosphere, drinks, and food.
