I’m giving a one-star review due to the restaurant’s lack of transparency with pricing. I stopped in to purchase two mini salads that were clearly listed on the menu at $5.99 each. We weren’t very hungry—just looking for a light bite. The salads were very small but fresh and tasted good, and they came with a pastry and egg.
We gave our card to pay before seeing the check. When the receipt was brought back, we were surprised to see that every item was separately charged, including ice water and blue cheese dressing, and that the salads were priced higher than what was listed on the menu. Each “mini” salad ultimately cost $7.32.
Neither the menu nor the server disclosed any additional charges, and the final price did not match the advertised price. For that reason alone—not the quality of the food—I am giving one star for lack of honesty and transparency in pricing.

Very poor customer service experience. I was not greeted when I came into the restaurant. My order was not right and I still ended paying. I would not recommend this restaurant. I informed Pam that I felt that the restaurant was races by the customers that dine at this restaurant. She replied, “I can’t control who comes to my place of business.” Who as a business owner white in particular encourages this behavior? I’m so dissatisfied.

The food was not good. My burger taste like nothing but mustard. I got a bacon cheeseburger and the patty was half the size of the bun and loaded with mustard. I got like 7 fries. It was just a bad experience.

After reading reviews, I was looking forward to having lunch there. My waitress gave good service. It took a while to get my food. The tea, roll, & cole slaw were good. But the sweet potato fries had no flavor. The fried flounder was compressed meat with not so good breading and it was hard. I felt like $18 was thrown down the drain. I give it one star for my waitress.
