My wife and I went here last night with some friends. It was our first experience at Downtown 140. This place was very busy, so if you’re going on a weekend, highly recommend a reservation. Even Uptown 140(upstairs bar with appetizers available) was super busy.
Kind, nice, and attentive service from the staff. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or special occasion. Our friends hold this place in high regard and had us hyped up to try.
Good variety menu for drinks and food. I was told they rotate the menu to always introduce new dishes. Our friends ordered a red blend that was very flavorful. I had a lavender cocktail that was strong yet good.
We had calamari for an appetizer and it is one of my favorite experiences with calamari. Very flavorful in a crisped bun with a savory sauce. My wife had a crab cake and I ordered the chicken dish. Chicken is often not very exciting to order, but this dish caught my eye when browsing the menu. I was blown away by how well they had the chicken prepared and how flavorful the sauces and additions were to this dish. Even my wife loved it. My wife enjoyed her crab cake.
This is a pricey restaurant, but you get what you pay for.
I saw several menu items I have interest in trying, so it’s safe to say we’ll be back.

Y’all we are sleeping on Downtown 140 in Hudson! We had the best meal there tonight. Oysters Rockefeller, escargot, brussels sprouts with bacon and blue cheese, fingerling potatoes, and lobster gratin. They also make the best espresso martinis I’ve had in all of Summit county. — at Downtown 140.

I am so glad I stopped in this little gem! We had some time to kill before heading over to a nearby Stir cooking class so we dropped in for a few cocktails around 5:00 on a Saturday evening. We were able to sit at the bar right away. The bartender made our drinks very quickly and they were made perfectly. I even noticed her making a custom mocktail for a nearby patron, it looked delicious. We skimmed the food menu but due to already having dinner plans we settled on 1 appetizer, the deviled eggs. They were amazing! They were topped with caviar and the perfect creamy, tangy, salty bite. The restaurant is extremely romantic and intimate and even had bar like seating that looked into the kitchen. I can’t wait to come back for dinner!

Spectacular in every sense of the word.
My wife and I had the most wonderful Sunday evening dinner we’ve had in a very long time.
The bartender, Elizabeth, was fantastic and made excellent cocktails. The French onion soup and deviled eggs were perfect. The soup being some of the best I’ve ever had.
I had Gigi’s meatballs and spaghetti for my main entree, and my wife had the sea scallops. Both dishes were perfect. I loved every bite. The owner checked on us multiple times, and was very kind.
Overall, the experience was delightful, and the food was absolutely divine. We will be returning with an appetite again very soon. A fantastic evening.

3 people for dinner $410 , small portions , small menu choices and were out of 3 things we attempted to order. The service is very mediocre at best… Ambiance is noisy…
Much of food was very good, but the entire experience doesn’t justify the cost .
I could go to many places and enjoy better service with more choices and the same quality of food for half the price… For this reason, after 3x dining at downtown 140 … I’ve reached my limit with this place. Cost doesn’t justify the experience at all.

Pork belly is the way to go for an app. I would consider ordering 2, and the brussel sprouts were truly amazing. Great staff and owners are really nice.

Amazing cozy place. Has great atmosphere. Family who owns it are amazing, everyone is so helpful and considerate. I’m new vegan so I was very honored to be treated with chefs special vegetable plate dinner. Drinks are amazing. They have team of servers that has been with them for long time, this makes it very authentic and knowledgeable. Loved everything about it. Upstairs and downstairs both equally amazing spots.

What a hidden gem! Everything about this place is delightful. Great service, an incredible menu, and neat atmosphere. Get the filet. I know it’s expensive, but just trust me. Wow, I can still taste it a week later. I was in a business trip, and not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but will make a beeline back when I can. Wow!
