Food was great customer service was good. Our waitress was hanging out with the table next to us, clearly her friends but she still stayed on top of giving us good service. There were a few people that were over served and literally falling over, they should have been cut off but good experience other than that.

Waited 30 mins to get my order to go, and when I received it, the burger had nothing but cheese on it, when I told the bartender that everything on it was fine, and the fries were stale. I returned it and got fresh fries and toppings. No sauce or ketchup on the burger, the bread was hard, and the meat was dry and hard to eat. I only ate it cause I was really hungry and I had to get back to work. I would not recommend going to this place. The bartender was nice though.

Great reviews, but my experience was uneventful. Server was efficient. Food was ok. I had the Double Patty with sweet potato waffle fries and chicken wings. Nothing spectacular. Apparently, a popular local hangout. Lincoln has other much better dining options.

Down the Hatch was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. We should have read the reviews first. Food was terrible. We couldn’t say anything because our waiter didn’t stay long enough for us to respond. Jaiden was his name. Terrible waiter. Terrible!!!! I stopped at the bar asking where I should pay. My first time at the establishment. Jaiden yelled at me saying “ do I have to come to your table every five minutes.” We asked another waitress for the water. When leaving she thought it was okay in the manner in which we were spoken to. Think twice before going to Down the Hatch. Jaiden quickly ran to the table to grab our bills …..I’m sure to only collect his tip. Bad bad service at this establishment.
When trying to speak with the manager regarding this situation he said my comment was inaccurate and baseless. No apology for his staffs poor customer service. Now I understand the behaviors of his staffs poor service. You represent Nebraska in a very poor way!!!!

Grace was awesome. Loved this. Right around the block from my house so easy to go. Great food. Great service. Cheap and fast. Sports tvs pool table. Great environment. Just odd they allow children as it’s a restaurant as well.

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by a friendly bar tender. Even though he was busy he managed to have a menu and a beer in front of me with in a minute. I ordered the shrimp tacos which were so good I ordered a second one. I wasn’t sure how to play the lottery, but he took the time to explain it to me. The only down fall is it’s very load in here because of all the concrete. I still rate this place a 5⭐️

I’ve had most of the things on the menu except pizza, and everything has been good. I LOVE the Cuban and Philly sandwiches, and the regular and sweet potato fries are great! The drinks are good, the atmosphere is fun, and the service is always good.

This is becoming our family’s go to restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is laid back. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. Deciding what to get is difficult but, you could close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and it would be a good selection. Highly recommend Down The Hatch for dinner, lunch, or drinks. Also, the Spinach Artichoke dip is a must try. Absolutely fabulous.

Their smoked corned beef brisket was awesome! They don’t have a smoker but they rent one to use once a year for Saint Patty’s. I hear their burgers are really good as are their cheese steak hoagies. I only scored four stars for atmosphere because the tv or music was too loud for us old folks’ liking to talk and hear while visiting. Otherwise it is a very nice establishment. Waiter was super nice. Nice size portions and reasonably priced.
