Our party Ordered: thick Prime Rib(med rare), The beast burger(elk, wild boar, bison) served on a toasted bun, 14 Oz In house Cut Ribeye w/ added Mushroom & onions, CK strips & Fries. See photos.

What stood out: The quickness and attentiveness of Service, the thickness of the beef cuts, and the sweet potatoes tots. This family friendly place has plenty of stuff for the kids. The owner came over and made sure everything was cooked to perfection and it was. Darts, pool, pinball and a tote of toys(trucks & stuff) The TOTs are a must have!! They toss them in cinnamon & sugar. Best thing I have had in a while. I also recommend the “orange fluff” from the salad bar. It’s just like Grandma used to make.

Our entire party was extremely pleased with everything. 5 out of 5! This back country road bar & grill is a gem and everyone should try it out! We will be back.

Slow service, didn’t get our side of tomato and lettuce. Not worth the drive to get there.
Not recommended.

The service was very good. Have eaten here a few times but just ordered the nacho skillet. Amazing!! It’s topped with lots of veggies and they don’t hold back on the cheese. What tipped the scales for me was the smoked chicken on it. Fantastic! This all came out in a 10″ cast iron skillet pulled high with chips topped with everything above. Priced right and enough for 3 people.

I will order this every time I go there. Great food.

We had to actively call the waitress over to get drink refills as we waited a long time for our food. The waitress appeared to ignore our pleas for service-turning around and walking away when we attempted to get her attention. We couldn’t even get service at the bar as it was left unattended for significant stretches of time. The building was uncomfortably cold. Food was okay but not worth freezing our butts off for over an hour with no drinks.

Blond bartender clearly had no intention of service, well not for food anyway. Asked if they had a local beer in a can. She said no. We could clearly see them about 5 minutes later. Half of the draft beers were out. They had no steak. No gizzards. Wouldn’t sell us a pickled egg. And the pork bellies were bland.

This place looked the part of a solid back country find. But it is actually a hole for locals that have no better place to go. Other bartender was nice.
