We all had a great time, from loving on a regular patron on the front porch, had the grilled tenderloin, tots, onion rings and mushrooms, with a few cocktails. The service was great and the food was very good, come stop by to enjoy some great food and cocktails

I was fortunate enough to hear from the owners sister that she believed that her brothers place made the best breaded tenderloin in Howard County. Those are mighty big words considering the two restaurants in Kokomo that make giant tenderloin and have competed against each other for decades. 15 years ago I purchased one from the restaurant in Kokomo just off of markland and drove to Greentown and ordered one here. The difference is night and day. The one from Kokomo is like a thin processed fritter. Rodney’s has been hand sliced, pounded, then hand breaded in a wonderful onion ring type of breading. Deep fried and dressed with tomato and onion and lettuce and mayonnaise and pickles. This sandwich is made from scratch and it shows. The taste is amazing. I live 6 1/2 hours away and drive through once or twice a year. I always stop and order a couple breaded tenderloin, one for me and one for my wife. I dare you to have your own competition because Rodney’s will change your idea of just what a real breaded tenderloin is supposed to be like.

I needed to find a central location to have a birthday lunch between Fort Wayne, Frankfort, and Indianapolis. Picked Main Street Grill in Greentown after reading reviews about their tenderloin sandwich. They did not disappoint!
The tenderloin sandwich was fantastic and the onion rings were the bomb!! The chicken strips were very good as well.
And the service? Is there a better word than spectacular because that’s the level of service we received. We were all outsiders who had never stepped foot in Greentown before, and we were treated like royalty. Everyone we met in the Bar and Grill that day were truly amazing. THANK YOU Main Street Bar & Grill! You definitely made it a memorable birthday.
