Me and the bros came here for lunch a few days ago and had a good time. This is a retro 1950 diner but it’s frozen at 2:14am and the jukebox loops the same song over and over. We were not alone though, there were shadow people in some of the other booths also. The chef cooks whatever you want but never speaks . The best part is if you stay in the same booth for over 30 minutes you will forget why you are here. Forget about leaving because the diner wants you to stay forever there is no easy escape.

I went to this diner while visiting Delaware with my family. The four of us were seated very quickly in a wi dow booth. I ordered the Quarterback Platter.
The platter consisted of: 3 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of scrapped, grits or home fries, toast or biscuit. I chose the home fries and toast.
When the food arrived I was excited until I noticed the bacon and scrapple were over cooked. Both were crispy and hard. I didn’t complain though because it seemed really busy.
My suggestion to a future visitor would be to tell them how you like your Meat items cooked. The food was decent however.

Great place to eat! The place is very clean and service omission on. The portions are hugs and food is delicious. We have been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Great value. Wear comfortable pants – going to need them.

AMAZING customer service This is the BEST place to sit down and have a great breakfast tp start the day! The birthday girl was our server and she was kind, quick and phenomenal with hee service. The front staff greetings made the day as they showed no stress with a line of people waiting.

Lot’s of food for your money. Staff very pleasant. Nice atmosphere. Sue, our waitress was very attentive and even asked if everything was okay. I will be returning again as we live near. This diner has gotten much better since reopening. FOOD CAME OUT HOT AND AS REQUESTED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE. 5+ STARS FOR BREAKFAST

What a nice little piece of nostalgia. Very cool interior. Wanted to try something different. Had seen something called scrapple on Food Network a few times and knowing that it is a Delaware staple, I decided to give it a try. I got the “quarterback“ meal, which comes with three eggs, bacon, home fries, and two pieces of scrapple. I didn’t know what to expect but let me say I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know how to describe it other than walking seem like a fried piece of liverwurst. Crispy exterior and a soft silky inside. Eggs were cooked great as well as the bacon. The home fries were a perfect blend of crisp and soft. I would highly recommend if you are looking for some breakfast. The staff was also super friendly.

This place is a 1950’s dream. Chrome, Neon lights, is just beautifully vintage! The service was fantastic and the prices were fair. The breakfast was good, although the rye toast was hardly toasted. Other than that it was great.

The server was very nice. It was quite busy and she managed well. Sting beans were soggy. Broccoli was cooked well. I ordered the western porkchops and they were good. My kids enjoyed their food as well. I would visit again.
