This was a great experience! My husband enjoyed the Ossobuco special. The presentation was amazing! The lasagna was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The wait staff were very welcoming when we walked in the door, and we were also greeted by the owner who was very welcoming as well. The overall experience for us was above and beyond. We can’t wait to go back.

The owner of this restaurant will be the reason it doesn’t succeed. He lacks basic knowledge and understanding of how to treat customers. Now I know why the restaurant is empty on a Saturday night at 8pm.
I don’t eat dairy. When my seafood pasta arrives I ask the waitress for some fresh black pepper to put on top. The bus boy then comes over, with what I thought was a black pepper grinder, and (without asking) starts putting shaved cheese all over the pasta.
I get the server. She understood, since she knew what happened, and went to go get the manager. He comes over and instead of apologizing and assuring me they will come out with a new dish, starts to tell me all the things that he thought I did wrong. “You asked for this and don’t want it.” “You should have said…” all while the server stood behind him mortified.
This owner first needs to learn that the customer is always right — even if they are wrong. Second, he should get a story straight before making a fool of himself.

In response to the owners disgusting comment below… I’m glad that all 7 of your customers other than myself and my family had a good time. Those 7 people dining must make for great success especially on a Saturday night at 8. All over 70 years old too, this restaurant is DEAD — well, it will be soon. Food sucks too.

My cousin has known the owner for 25 years. Our first visit. Although the food & service was good, the atmosphere was not and the overall value was way below my expectations. Menu had a “filet of sole” & “filet of flounder “. Flounder was $53, sole was $43. Really? Requested a small side dish of capellini with my entree. $12. Really? Requested one biscotti with my cappuccino. They brought dish of 6 & charged some ridiculous $. Very disappointing. I guess customer longevity doesn’t matter much. We won’t return.

Divino is the most authentic, highest quality, best tasting Italian restaurant in Palm Beach County – period.

As a family, we lived in Italy for 2 years, and go back to the Country every year. We hold both US and Italian passports. We say this to establish that we understand what good Italian food should taste like.

Italian food (especially Tuscan food) should be simple, with few ingredients, but high on quality and taste. Divino meets all of these requirements. We find most US Italian food to be too focused on quantity and on “adders” like cheese and spices that aren’t necessary. Divino gets it. My true test for the capabilities of an Italian restaurant is either the Ragu or Linguini with clams. Divino nails both, and both are spectacular. Why these? Because American restaurants overdo what should be simple dishes. Divino keeps it simple, which means the taste will blow you away.

The decor is typical Italian. Not quite what we are used to in the U.S., but if I didn’t know where I was, I would think I was in a side-street Trattoria in Florence. It’s not typical US – it is typical Italian.

We cannot say enough about the food quality and authenticity. We find most of the other Italian restaurants to have really heavy food, or be American alternatives to the classics. Divino sticks to the best recipes of Italy, and does them to perfection with high-quality ingredients.

Finally, in Italy, being a waiter is one of the more respected jobs – and they take their jobs seriously. The wait staff at Divino is highly professional, mostly Italian, and they make you feel like you are part of the family. We have never had bad service, and we like everyone we meet there.

We go to Divino at least twice a month. I have tried everything on the menu, but these days, I am addicted to the Gorgonzola Chicken.

Italian restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. We all started with the anti pasto, grilled octopus with cannellini beans(phenomenal) and mussels cooked with a tasty tomato based broth. . My in-laws ate risotto with seafood and said it was delicious. My husband ate the Osso Bucco and said it was tender and amazing. I appreciated my dish, calamari with a delightful broth and so tender they melted in my mouth. Everything cooked to perfection, including the fresh desserts. Cocktails on point. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and fresh food cooked with love!

A nightmare experience at the least especially for the price. I do not give bad reviews on most restaurants but had to on this one. The dining room is very nice as I’ve been there before a year ago.

The owner is very angry to say the least .You are not allowed bread until the meal is ordered so said the owner right off the bat. Huh? Now, Usually a glass of wine, with bread, before mealtime is not unusual and enjoyable, correct? Not here. They said “No bread “until you order, a command. I heard him the owner. “Waiters run around knowing nothing as well. (It was not packed with patrons by any means either and half empty) – half of restaurant was empty and so not the reason.

It went down from there, food was horrible for two at a hefty cost. If you want to shell out 200 dollars for a few glasses of wine and simple veal, chicken dish have at it.

Stay away please from this once upon a time nice place, ugh!!!!

Very nice people, waiters, helpers. Very sweet. Ambience, well…nice. Food and drink prices – ABSURD. Any fish – $47 (about twice what it should be). Very small portions of vegetables. Bottom shelf (CC – $9/bottle!) drink price – wow – $16 per drink….no glasses of wine for under $12, most much higher, for standard stuff. Ever had $35 Lasagna? Here it is……….!! Ridiculous. And LOTS of rules – “no sharing, no splitting, no changes to the menu or you get upcharges, we want an 18% minimum tip” – and it’s calculated on the check for you with tax included – Won’t be back.

We waited for 50 minutes for the older gentleman waiter to take our order. Finally I notified the owner, who graciously provided us with a our new waitress, Antonella. She and Fernando were absolutely wonderful. Antonella was welcoming, attentive, friendly, and made us feel like family. Fernando was adorable and took the time to explain each of the desserts to us. The meal took 3.5 hours from seating to exit, but the food was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! We had the Calamari, Antipasto, Zucchini, and Caprese to start. All great size, fresh, and delicious. Dinner was Veal Ossobuco, Lasagna, and Frutti di Mare. We substituted the fettuccini for the risotto. Again, portions great, seafood plentiful, veal was fall-off-the-bone tender. Dessert was the Tartufo and Chocolate cake with ice cream. Both delicious and good size. Although we had a rocky start, we would DEFINITELY be back. The food is absolutely the BEST Italian cuisine anywhere around. Yes, it is pricey, but then everything we buy today as consumers has literally doubled in price since the pandemic.

The food was good…not great …and the service was very good BUT the drink prices were absurd! $20 for (bar) vodka and cranberry??! Seriously? That’s price gouging. House Chardonnay also was overpriced. Fool me once shame on me…you won’t fool me twice. I won’t be back.
