Finally got a chance to try Dougs Day Diner with a friend for breakfast. It is very close to where I live and has been in business many years.
The good was the server was very friendly and helpful. Without the sever the review would have been two stars.
The menu has lots of options to choose from.
The not as good was the breakfast burrito was mediocre. It is a very large portion so that’s nice but the flavor was nothing special. It comes with eggs, potatoes, choice of meat (I think I did adovada) and smothered with Chile (I did red and green Christmas style).
The coffee was also good but nothing to rave about.
Perhaps other breakfast or lunch items are good. Just a bummer since this location is so close and has a big parking lot making it easy to get to.

Ordered the Sweet Ruth. Tasty! Great place to take kids. They provide nice crayons and cups with lids. Wide variety of syrups. Busy but polite crowd.

Been eating here for many years. The quality of the food has become poor and disappointing in recent times. Ordered Carne Asada burrito today and the ONLY ingredient inside the burrito was beef chuck roast. Tasted nothing like asada. The beans, rice, sour cream, guac are skimp portions on the side barely enough for 2 bites and it didn’t taste good at all.

The biscuits there are something else!! I’m definitely coming back!! My husband and I enjoyed both of our dishes! Stuffed tater tots were on point! service was also amazing!

Green chile really had no flavor. Waitress was nice but there was no personal touch. We had the sausage breakfast burrito, it looked impressive but was mostly potatoes. The green chile was exceptionally thick, like way too thick and had little flavor.

First time at Doug’s Diner this morning! Menu had a lot of good variety and everything was tasty. Will be back very soon to try out their lunch and dinner options! Great pricing and serving sizes. Left with a couple to go boxes and a very happy belly!

Went here for 1st time and we now have a favorite place. We were worried because they were so busy (valentine’s day) but we were seated fairly quick and everything just got better from there. The food was hot, fresh, DELICIOUS and quick. Will be back for sure. Really wish they were open for dinners.

Well this is a smaller restaurant the food was delicious. I really like the breakfast burritos, as that’s usually where I can tell when a place does the food right. The ingredients appeared to be locally sourced, and freshly made, but maybe they just had me fooled. Either way, it was delicious. My daughter said the fries work great. She said they were soggy. This is a big no-go for me, but if this was a fluke, maybe that was the issue. I will tell you that I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and we will be going back to this place. The cinnamon rolls, though, we’re really good size, but they were sprinkled with actual cinnamon. Well this normally wouldn’t be an issue, as this is what is supposed to happen, they laid the cinnamon on too thick in some spots and not thick enough on others. I would think a light sprinkle would do. We won’t be buying those again, but the rest of the food was delicious. I also enjoyed the size of their cups. All this may seem like a small thing, I enjoy having a beverage on hand at all times. This is rather nice, as you don’t have to wait for the waitstaff to come back and bring you a refill. The prices were extremely reasonable. My wife and I enjoyed that, and we even compared it to our local establishment. I won’t mention their name because it’s not fair to this restaurant. That stated, it’ll be hard to decide which one we go to in the future. Both were equally great.

Doug’s Day Diner is absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — you can tell they really care about quality. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. You really feel like a valued guest here. I can’t recommend Doug’s Day Dinner enough — definitely a five-star experience from start to finish!
