Absolutely disgusting! I went there yesterday for the most basic sandwich, chicken cutlet Mayo and cheese on a hero, I couldn’t eat half yesterday and I wasn’t sure why… today I decided to finish my other half and I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TYPE OF CHICKEN THIS IS I can’t even chew it, it’s not edible and I feel sick to my stomach!!! Would never eat here again. Paid $17 for this… and it’s going to the trash and now I have to waste more money on food

Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich that I paid 12.50 for plus tax. Was absolutely the worst sandwich I ate. School lunch back in the day had better quality chicken and bread. Save your money and don’t support this establishment. Subway makes better sandwiches than these clowns.

2 sandwiches, bottle of coke and a small bag of chips was $33. The sandwiches weren’t anything special (chicken salad and volcano chicken) so not sure why it was so much. They were delicious but I don’t think I’ll be back based on the prices.

I love this deli! I travel a few miles there because they have the best healthy tuna sandwiches on rye bread around! Tuna fish has to be made just right, and this is the place!

You get what you pay for in these neighborhoods, and while this deli might price a thing or two above the competition, the service, skills and food are a cut above the rest. I can save a dollar and get a disappointing sandwich that was made wrong or with cheap ingredients in Bayside, or I can have a sandwich that is so good it makes literally makes my day. It’s an easy choice at this point. Best guys behind the counter, with decades of experience, and good will. Save yourself the frustration with the other delis around little neck, Douglaston and Bayside, and call in your next lunch here. Cheers

I drive thirty minutes here for their soups especially their creamy tomato and lobster bisq. Wish they had them every day… and their salads…pricey but delicious! Staff are all great!

This is what every deli should be. The guys that work there are great and the food they make is Fantastic. I never liked potato salad until a few years ago because I never had it here! Their rice pudding is great (so is everything else!), and I especially love their Homemade Virginia Ham, which I just tried 2 weeks ago. I’m on my way now!

Old school style. Been coming here since way before Yelp. Maybe 20 years or so. They have everything and it’s all good. I choose from the limited lunch tray selection. Maybe add a German potato salad (I prefer it to the ordinary kind).
There is no seating, so bring your truck. If you’re on foot just plan to eat and walk. Get a hero.
The prices are in line with food today. Compared to 20 years ago they have gone up the same as everything. But expect to break $10 for lunch with a drink.
The same counter people have been serving me for a long time so if supporting a local business or seeing the same faces are important to you then this deli is your place.
