It’s a super loud fast food joint with okay food and very small tables. The soup dumplings were our favorite but they spread flat and the tops weren’t all the way done. Their flavor was great.
The sweet and sour cucumber tasted good but came in one long spiralized roll. Just cut it into bite size pieces. This isn’t a fancy place so sending out something that favors fancy over easy is just weird.
The pan fried pork and shrimp potstickers tasted good but were soggy. It’s a crisp presentation usually so missing that was a bummer.
The small tables and lack of removal of empty dishes left us feeling crowded.
I don’t think I’d go back which is kind of disappointing since I really love dumplings. The portion sizes were good. The service was fine.

First time to Dough Zone. My server Karlene was great! She welcomed me in and helped explain the menu and everything. The soup dumplings were perfect on such a cold winter day. I only wish it had been warmer in the restaurant but I understand it is a cavernous space lined with nothing but glass windows. Other than that though perfect lunch experience an Karlene was the best!

This was my first time eating here even though I have eaten at other locations such as Clackamas, OR. It was only me as a solo diner. I was trying to get the wait staff’s attention. Apparently there was no host to direct traffic. The first person I met was Saul, I requested for a table for one and he told me that he will clock in first and will help me. He did clock in but didn’t help me. I then later alerted another staff member, Alondra. I said the same thing, table for one please she told me “please wait 2 minutes and then I will get you a table.” I then said could I sit by the open area by the entrance she informed me that that section was closed, but about 5 minutes later “it was open”. She too pretty much ignored me and did not help me find a seat. This time the third person, Cheyna apologized and got me a seat. I knew exactly what I wanted to order so I made my order on the piece of paper provided and returned it to her. The first item that came out was the crab and pork soup dumplings, these were as always consistently very good. My second item was a chicken wonton soup… The dumpling skin was undercooked and raw and part of the filling was also raw. I then alerted a staff member, Alexa, about the underwhelming dish… She apologized, took it away, and removed it from my check. The last item was a scallion pancake. This item came out last and I was a little disappointed that it came out last. I was hoping this was going to come out first because usually this is an appetizer. It was very crispy and went well with the recommended chili sauce Alexa brought to me. Overall the experience was mixed, customer service could have been a little better on the front end but on the back end it was adequate. Food was also mixed especially with undercooked dumplings in a soup…. Would I give this establishment another chance, yes. Do I think they need to resolve their issues with customer service and food quality, absolutely.

This Asian restaurant is awesome! I needed something open late, and I got my order in on DoorDash just before they closed. I ordered it to go, and it arrived at my room still hot. Seriously, I’ve never seen takeout packaged so nicely. They really put in the effort to make sure your food is well-made, hot, and looks good, even when you’re taking it home. Everything, from the bag to their custom boxes and even the chopsticks, was impressive. I got pork soup dumplings that were cooked perfectly and a spicy beef pancake roll. The dough on both was absolutely amazing, and the fillings had great flavors. I’d totally order from here again in a second, and it was definitely worth the price; everything was super reasonable.

Probably the absolute worst “dumplings/noodles” ive ever had. Even though it was delivered it was still far from expectations. Those noodles wouldnt pass for .49 cent ramen noodles and the portion was horrendous. And the dumplings were undercooked and stone cold. Its wild that a place would let this quality of food leave its kitchen and be proud of it. Will definitely avoid this place at all cost and am definitely letting others know not to spend their money there and to go elsewhere. Yall got work to do.

This is so much worse than the other locations. They messed up my order and entered it wrong. It’s written down, how hard is it? No apologies. Also the cucumber looks terrible compared to the other locations. Slow, inattentive service. Waterfront location is way better.

I really liked the steamed dumplings and the soup dumplings, the buns left much to be desired. Regardless, the food was good. Our server, Alexa was friendly, but was very busy. The atmosphere as a whole was good, but we were seated right next to the kitchen, and thus it was very loud.

We’re big fans of Chinese soup dumplings, so when a friend recommended “The Dough Zone” in Beaverton, we couldn’t wait to give it a try.
The first time we visited, the restaurant was full — a great sign — so we put our name in and took the time to review the menu carefully and plan out our first meal.
From that first visit, we were impressed:
the dumplings (we ordered chicken and pork) were fresh, perfectly prepared, and really flavorful
. Every dish we ordered was great, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
The atmosphere was minimalist but comfortable, and the service was quick and efficient despite how busy they were.
Since that initial visit, we’ve been back four or five times in just the past month or two — and each time, the experience has been consistently excellent. Whether it’s the juicy soup dumplings, the savory beef stew noodles, the cucumber salad was exceptional. Honestly, everything we’ve tried has been outstanding.
The Dough Zone has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic, high-quality dumplings and Chinese comfort food. Prices are great as well.
Definitely worth the trip!

Had a little lunch break and came here with our oldest for a meal. We were seated immediately since it was not very busy and the orders were placed immediately. There were quite a few servers but it is also very challenging trying to flag them down as they seemed busy all the time.
Food came out fairly quickly and portions, I must say, are very skimpy. Perhaps, due the rise in prices for ingredients, they are trying to keep up but if charging a lot for each item, portions should also be kept reasonable.
Taste of food is mediocre. The noodles are of good texture but a little dry to our preference and taste. The dumplings could be better even though, the texture of the skin is good.
Would I go back? I would return for the convenience of not having to wait in long lines but I would suggest that servers be a little more approachable because after all, they “suggest” a tip as you pay for your check.

Giving 2 stars because maybe the food would taste better fresh. We ordered from the kiosk at 4:45pm on a Sunday afternoon. There was a fair amount of people there but I wouldn’t have thought they were slammed. At 5:15 we asked after our order(the counter staff was very nice) and were told it was still waiting for 2 items. I noticed at that point that the other items were just on the counter, they do not have a warming area. We finally received our order at 5:30, it took about 10 minutes to get home, and, as I feared, most of it was cold. I guess the won-tons and pot-stickers were the last to go in so they weren’t too bad. However, the noodles were a cold congealed mass and the soup dumplings had pretty much solidified. They perked up a little after microwaving, but I shouldn’t have to microwave food I just picked up. As I said, maybe it is better if you eat in, we certainly saw many people come in after we ordered, get sat, order, and receive their food while we sat and waited, but we won’t be back.
