DO NOT DINE/TAKEOUT FOOD HERE!!! Since changing ownership this place has gone downhill. What a shame. The knew owners are rude, never ever take responsibility and will argue with you. Forget about customer being right mentality. The food is grotesque, greasy and burnt. Food burns right thru the styrofoam. Which we all know how unsafe that is. Save yourself a trip to the emergency room for possible

Dough Boys Pizzeria is a hidden gem! Huge portions at very affordable prices. One pizza slice is big enough for 2 people, and even their “small” calzone feeds 2–3 easily. With a $12 dish, two can dine comfortably. The menu is massive with all the Italian classics, pizza, pasta, calzones, salads, sandwiches, meatballs and more. Service is friendly, soda machines are available, and they happily provide plenty of to-go boxes since portions are so large. Many customers order pickup, but the dining area is cozy and welcoming. Highly recommended for both value and taste!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Dough Boys Pizzeria for over 10 years and have always ordered takeout with good experiences. Unfortunately, my recent decision to dine in the restaurant for the first time was extremely disappointing.
The restaurant was not busy at all, yet when we walked in, the two individuals behind the counter did not greet us. They simply stared at us and offered no direction about seating or ordering. After waiting a few minutes with no acknowledgment, we seated ourselves at a table in the back. Still, no one approached us. Eventually, a female employee yelled across the restaurant that when we were ready to order, we needed to order at the counter. As a first-time dine-in customer, I had no way of knowing this, and the way it was communicated felt dismissive and unwelcoming.
When ordering and throughout our meal, the service was consistently unpleasant. I observed the same employee show visible annoyance toward another table when they asked for pizza sauce. Later, when I politely asked for extra Parmesan cheese, I received the same irritated reaction—as if I had asked for something unreasonable instead of a simple condiment. The Parmesan that was initially given to me was stale and dry.
On the positive side, the garlic rolls were excellent. The lasagna was just ok, and my son’s baked ziti was also ok. However, the pasta fagioli lacked flavor and required added salt and a large amount of Parmesan just to make it tolerable. When I later asked for the Parmesan packets typically used for takeout orders, the employee did comply, but I overheard her making a comment to the gentleman next to her about me asking for extra Parmesan, which was unprofessional and unnecessary.
Additionally, the fountain Coca-Cola was missing syrup and tasted like seltzer water. I do appreciate that when I mentioned it, I was directed to take a canned Coke instead.
Overall, something has clearly changed. The food was not as good as I remember, and the service made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. It is definitely not worth dining in anymore, which is very disappointing after being a customer for so many years.

This is a total hole in the wall restaurant which is the best ever! I took my daughter here and she absolutely loved it! The man Nick at the front was great and very accommodating. The pizza was delicious and I got a salad which was huge. The chicken was a bit overcooked but it’s not a big deal. I would definitely go back again!

I feel fortunate to have discovered this tasty, affordable little gem right in my own backyard. While you won’t feel like someone spun you around and pulled off your blindfold in the Mediterranean, most things on their menu are fresh, hot, filling, serviceable Italian-American favorites. Lunch specials are notably affordable, generous, and tasty.
My wife and I ordered their white pizza with additions of anchovy and eggplant because we miss our favorite way out in Hallandale (Frank’s Pizza) and were happily met by its equal. The eggplant is lovingly dusted with meal flour and baked being included as well, which is authentic and way nicer than some lazier shops that simply put raw, bitter eggplant on it and call it finished. Kudos! The dough is reminiscent of New York and other East coast styles as well.
We returned to eat in after I’d noticed the clean, attractive, recently decorated interior when picking up the pizza the previous week. The lunch special included (!) garlic rolls are piled in minced fresh garlic and are so soft and hot they really set the mood. A huge meatball rounds out the eggplant parmigiana and lasagna which both come in a rich, fresh tasting marinara sauce. We had to ask what kind of lasagna it was, and were told—correctly–it was chicken. Odd choice, but still tasty. They should tell a customer that first. Great place, and we will return.

First time dining here. Ordered the “Italian Fest” lunch special (their specials are valid 7 days a week!)
Served a basket of fresh-out-of-the-oven garlic rolls – delicious! Followed by a baked dish including ziti, meatballs, white meat chicken, and eggplant. Their sauce is perfectly sweet – reminded me New Jersey.

I had an amazing experience at this pizzeria — the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the team really cares about their customers. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor — everything from the crust to the sauce tasted authentic and perfectly balanced. It’s hard to find places that get both the service and the food right, but this one definitely does. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza and great people!

I’ve been ordering from this place for over 10 years. Loyal customer, consistent orders, never once had a reason to complain or even speak to an owner—until recently. Unfortunately, something has clearly changed, and not for the better.
The last few orders were already disappointing, but the final straw was receiving food that was over-salted and incorrect, including pasta loaded with broccoli that we never ordered. Because we were rushing to the airport, we didn’t ask for replacements—just called to give feedback, hoping it would help a place we genuinely used to love.
The person who identified himself as Nicolas, the owner, was polite and appreciative at the time. He thanked us, said not to worry, and told us that next time we ordered, he’d personally make sure it was taken care of.
Well, “next time” came—and it was like dealing with a completely different business. This time the man on the phone was rude, dismissive, and uninterested in listening. He immediately jumped to saying he “can’t give away free food,” even though that’s not what was asked for. When I tried to explain the situation, he cut me off and literally told me to leave a review and order somewhere else.
So here it is.
Whether ownership changed or staff attitudes did, this place is no longer what it used to be. The quality is inconsistent, orders are wrong, and customer loyalty clearly means nothing anymore. It’s honestly sad to see a once-great neighborhood spot go downhill like this.
Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants offering the same food—with better quality and people who actually care. Not worth the money, not worth the frustration.
