After a trip to the grocery store with some family, we were more than ready for sandwiches, pizza, and cold beers. Double Days looked like the right spot, was close by, and most of what we tried delivered

The crispy haddock sandwich was huge and full of flavor with the right balance of toppings. The meat lovers pizza had a great mix of toppings without being greasy, and the balsamic personal pizza was done just right with a nicely baked crust that was crunchy

The only letdown was the club sandwich. It was covered in too much mayo, which made it oily and took away from what could have been a solid classic. However, the French Onion soup made up for the sandwich issue. The overall winner was the Italian which had the perfect bread. Mad I didnt order it myself as it looked delicious and cousin raved about it throughout the meal

Service was so-so and very slow for a Saturday, especially since the restaurant was not that busy. The food was good, but picking up the pace would make a big difference

Overall, it is a decent place when you want a variety of food optipns and a beer after running errands. Just plan on being there for a bit

GO EAT HERE! This pizza was amazing! I ordered the Monster Pizza. I subbed out sausage for bacon and red onions for extra banana peppers. The toppings were piled on! Every bite was delicious and full of flavor. The only thing I will change next time is ordering it with extra cheese! The cheese was underwhelmed by the rest of the toppings but still delicious!

All of the food we had was great except for the “gyro”. The chicken chunks were so big that it made it really difficult to enjoy.

Our first time in here. Clean place. Menu is huge. Lots of options. Was hard to choose! I opted for a turkey bacon avocado wrap….and I wanted tomato soup…but they didn’t have it this night…. so I chose chicken tortilla soup. The soup was soooo cheesy…(I couldn’t eat it)… my wrap was very good. Hubby had a pizza! Very good! He said the mushrooms tasted fresh! We got an additional deluxe pizza to go… brought that one to hubby’s mom and her roommate as a New Year’s present at the nursing home. Both ladies wolfed their pizza down and ranted and raved over how delicious it was! Deliciousness.

Grill and Tavern is misleading. The food here is made fresh. The kitchen is top notch. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with the options of grilled, blackened, or fried. The Potato Soup and Chicken Chili were excellent. Every spoonful a delight. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts could be served at any establishment. More than ample portions and our server was too notch. If there was a downside, it was they were really busy. I suppose that happens when you’re good.

Great, locally owned bar/grill. The menu has so many options there is something for everyone.
We started out with the fried pickles & they did not disappoint.
My husband had the American burger with onion rings. It was huge and cooked perfectly. I got a create my own pizza. Absolutely delightful.
We would definitely come back & I can see why locals love it here.

Had a half star to to The fairly standard atmosphere. The service was basically adequate. Mixed review on the food. My go-to Texas pork tenderloin sandwich remains my favorite and is bigger than the plate. The chicken pasta soup was very thick and creamy and pretty darn good. My dining partner enjoyed the mac and cheese but thought the Reuben sandwich was mildly tough and rather dry this time around

I was brought here by locals, and this did not disappoint! Everything I tried, from the French dip to the homemade ranch, was excellent. I am a sucker for great bar food and there is a full menu for all. Definitely try this place, as I will be coming back next time I am in Dayton. Thanks Sarah for the great service and recommendations!

I went here for lunch with my Granny. We arrived around 1130. There were other patrons sitting but it wasn’t too crowded and it was quiet enough to hear each other easily. We liked the restaurant and our waitress was sweet. We both ordered the Cowboy Chicken Sandwich and we collectively agreed it was THE BEST chicken sandwich we had ever had. Before we left we were already planning the next time we would be back.

I wanted to order the pot roast hotshot substituting fries for the mashed potatoes. They would not substitute. I ended up with a BLT.
I have never been to a restaurant where they would not do this substitution when ordering a hotshot. The manager did come out to speak to me after we finished our meal. He told me that the pot roast just comes with the mashed potatoes, like they cannot be seperated!!! Really??? Then he had the audacity to ask me how my BLT was!!! I REALLY WANTED THE HOTSHOT!!!
I will not be back!!!!
